    Hi,

    A lot of websites won't use WooCommerce, however there is some WooCommerce related code to it that loads and potentially slows down the loading process.

    For optimization purposes themes like the ones from MyThemeShop have the ability for people to disable WooCommerce related code on pages that do not load that system. For that reason, sites with no WC will load significantly faster.

    I noticed that yours loads that code.

    Is there a way I can disable that and if so, how?

    You didn't say what theme you're using, but in general files are loaded in functions.php. Using the Genesis Sample theme as an example, edit functions.php and look for code similar to this:

    // Adds WooCommerce support.
    require_once get_stylesheet_directory() . '/lib/woocommerce/woocommerce-setup.php';

    // Adds the required WooCommerce styles and Customizer CSS.
    require_once get_stylesheet_directory() . '/lib/woocommerce/woocommerce-output.php';

    // Adds the Genesis Connect WooCommerce notice.
    require_once get_stylesheet_directory() . '/lib/woocommerce/woocommerce-notice.php';

    Comment it out and it won't load.
