Are the property listings saved on your site or are they accessed through an API from the IDX site? The reason I ask because if they are saved on your site, a custom field might do the trick.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorIs this a new install or a refresh of an old site. The reason I ask is because you don't have any 640x640 images so the system is using the next size it can find. If you load the image you have in the browser and change the 150x100 to 640x640, you'll get a file not found error.
http://cb2.ialreadyhaveawebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/super_funny_hilarious_worlds-funniest_pictures_of_add-coffee-150x100.jpg http://cb2.ialreadyhaveawebsite.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/super_funny_hilarious_worlds-funniest_pictures_of_add-coffee-640x640.jpg
You have to use a plugin like regenerate thumbnails to make sure the 640x640 images are created. https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
Keep in mind that the original images need to be larger than the thmbnails so they can be reduced in size properly.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?June 17, 2017 at 9:48 am in reply to: Need a genesis guru to chime in on conditional statements #207861Victor FontModeratorAll pages in WordPress are served dynamically because all content is stored in the database. Publishing a page does not create a physical page. It only tells WordPress that the content can be served up dynamically.
Please post a link to the site's properties page so we can view the source code. You post, while descriptive of the problem, doesn't provide the details needed to solve your requirement.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorIf there is a change log, it would be in the child theme directory, not available as a URL.
As a general rule, updates have not been provided for child themes unless there was a significant problem with a release. When Studio Press released their hosting service, many of the child themes received updates to support WooCommerce. Your theme was one of them. If you're not using WooCommerce or planning to, there's probably no reason to move to the latest version of the child theme.
If you do move to the new child and you install and activate WooCommerce, make sure you allow WooCommerce to create its standard pages, otherwise content will not display on your site.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorOut of the box, the Genesis Framework and Studio Press theme are setup for i18n localization. This means you have a .pot file that can be translated into local languages. However, you have to be aware that third party plugins and custom code added to your theme may not be setup for localization.
The framework in and of itself does not provide translations or the capability of switching between languages. Switching is usually done with a third party plugin. WPML is a very popular one, and the one I use myself. Translations are another task altogether. The .pot files need to be translated into your languages, one translation file for each language.
If you plan on translating the text yourself, get yourself a copy of POEdit.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?June 15, 2017 at 3:08 pm in reply to: Possible to add search and login button, etc. to before header menu #207821Victor FontModeratorOnly through PHP code. I don't have an specific example I can share with you, but this is all handled through WordPress functions anywhere. The example below is how I add a cart to the menu when using WooCommerce. You might be able to figure out how to use your code to replace the cart.
function houseplans_wcmenucart($menu, $args) { // Check if WooCommerce is active and add a new item to a menu assigned to Shop Menu location if ( !in_array( 'woocommerce/woocommerce.php', apply_filters( 'active_plugins', get_option( 'active_plugins' ) ) ) || 'primary' !== $args->theme_location ) return $menu; ob_start(); global $woocommerce; $viewing_cart = __('View your shopping cart', 'shdplans'); $start_shopping = __('Start shopping', 'shdplans'); $cart_url = $woocommerce->cart->get_cart_url(); $shop_page_url = get_permalink( woocommerce_get_page_id( 'shop' ) ); $cart_contents_count = $woocommerce->cart->cart_contents_count; $cart_contents = sprintf(_n('%d item', '%d items', $cart_contents_count, 'shdplans'), $cart_contents_count); $cart_total = $woocommerce->cart->get_cart_total(); // Uncomment the line below to hide nav menu cart item when there are no items in the cart // if ( $cart_contents_count > 0 ) { /* if ($cart_contents_count == 0) { $menu_item = '<li class="menu-item right"><a class="houseplanscart-contents" href="'. $shop_page_url .'" title="'. $start_shopping .'" itemprop="url">'; } else { */ $menu_item = '<li class="menu-item right"><a class="houseplanscart-contents" href="'. $cart_url .'" title="'. $viewing_cart .'" itemprop="url">'; /* } */ $menu_item .= $cart_contents.' - '. $cart_total; $menu_item .= '</a></li>'; // Uncomment the line below to hide nav menu cart item when there are no items in the cart // } echo $menu_item; $cart = ob_get_clean(); return $menu . $cart; }

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThere's nothing called classic stylesheet in Genesis. The child theme's stylesheet is in the child theme directory. It is called style.css.
You can always re-upload Genesis and the child theme through FTP just in case you have an incomplete install of either one.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorI'll explain why it worked. The clear basically acts as a line break for the float: left that positions the articles. This allows subsequent lines of content to display correctly. By turning this off, you are essentially telling all articles to line up to the left of each other in perpetuity. This may cause you other problems on screens of different widths or resolutions. You can end up with 5, 6, or more items on a line.
The 3n+1 in the CSS directive, says clear the float after every third article and start the next line. If you want to display 4 items on a line, the fix is changing 3n+1 to 4n+1, not clearing all floats.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorWhat's happening is that as you scroll the page, the opacity of home top is being reduced relative to the scroll. By the time you scroll to #text-12, the opacity of home-top has been reduced to -1, which means it is invisible. You would either have to remove the fade effect from the home.js or move #text-12 into another widget area.
By the way, since #text-12 is a unique ID for the page, you only have to reference it in CSS as #text-12.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThis isn't a Genesis thing, it's a CSS thing. Mobile CSS is driven by media queries. You'll find the media queries at the bottom of style.css. Media queries control CSS at different screen dimensions. A mobile screen, being smaller than a desktop, requires different CSS to display content correctly.
CSS executes in a hierarchical fashion. In other words, from the top down. If the theme is not following a mobile-first design, then the desktop CSS is executed first by the browser. The mobile queries override the desktop CSS as the screen gets smaller. Maybe this article will help: https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_rwd_mediaqueries.asp

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe issue is probably neither Genesis or the Child theme. The customize URL doesn't appear correct to me. This is what I get when I load the customize screen for one of my clent sites running Hello Pro: https://jamestchambers.com/wp-admin/customize.php?return=%2Fwp-admin%2F
You should turn on WordPress debug to see if you can pinpoint errors in PHP. It could be a plugin conflict as well.
