WPML and Polylang are two popular multi-language plugins. You still have to provide your own translations though. You could also try something like this: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-google-translate-in-wordpress/

Have you requested your free website audit yet?October 22, 2017 at 5:47 am in reply to: Adding background color to content-box in Custom HTML widget Infinity Pro theme #212812Victor FontModeratorWordPress assigns a unique ID to every widget when the HTML to display it is generated. If you use your browser's built-in inspect tool, you can view the generated HTML. https://victorfont.com/how-to-use-your-browsers-inspect-tool/
Infinity Pro uses widgets on the home page and footer widget area. If you want to change the background of a custom HTML widget, simply use the inspect tool to find the ID then add custom CSS to style.css for that ID. So for example, the HTML that wraps a custom HTML widget may look like this:
<section id="custom_html-7" class="widget_text widget widget_custom_html">
I would then construct the CSS around the ID:
#custom_html-7 { background-color: #ccc; }
If you find that the color doesn't reach far enough across the page, you can apply the background color further up the document hierarchy to the front page widget area. Each front page widget area has its own class, i.e. front-page-1, front-page-2, etc.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou don't need pre and code both. Use one or the other. As Christna said, on the front end, the first example will look like the second example if you use pre alone.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorAs I said in my earlier post, I wouldn't have edited the symbol-defs file because the changes will be overwritten with the next update. The Adobe code doesn't even come close to matching the SVG code in the file you referenced on Git. I would have just linked directly to the file you downloaded.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorChild themes are rarely updated because you apply all of your customizations to the child theme. If child themes were auto-updated, all of your customizations would be over written every time a new update is released.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorAll posts are in the WordPress database. If you are talking about what you have on the home page, the text at the top is in a text widget. The meetings and charity poker content are both pages displayed with the featured page widget. You can access all of that content through the WordPress Apearance/Widgets page.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou can adjust the width in the CSS media queries. There are multiple media queries at the bottom of style.css representing common device widths. You can add your CSS to these areas to change the width on various devices.
Many of today's modern browsers include mobile views in the developer tools section. Sometimes you have to inspect element to see the modes, sometimes you can access them from a menu. It's very useful to allow you to adjust the CSS and see the results before you make permanent changes.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorNo. I am a full-stack coder with over 30 years of application development experience. Custom SQL does not take 5 minutes. Changing loop parameters takes more than 5 minutes as well since what you want requires adding a taxonomy query as well. Good luck finding someone.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorBy definition, when you add a sidebar, it's not full screen. Any theme can be stretched across the full width of the screen by adjusting the CSS. Find a theme you like, then ask how to change the width specific to that theme. If you select a Studio Press theme, we can help you here. If you select a community marketplace theme (not developed by Studio Press), support is provided by the theme developers.

Generally though, it probably just means changing a float or text-alignment directive.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorWhat you want to do is possible, but it sound to me like you may have to hire a developer. From what you describe, you need a custom loop and quite possibly a custom SQL statement. Both of these require a deeper look at the architecture, maybe access to the database, and several hours to a day to construct and test. That's way beyond the scope of help that community volunteers are generally able to provide for free. There might be someone here that can help, but I really the fastest route to finding your solution is to hire someone.
