Did you follow the directions for setting up the home page? To see the here stuff, you have to designate a page as the home page.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorI just checked your site through GTMetrix and you've got many more issues than just render blocking scripts. https://gtmetrix.com/reports/liveablissfullife.com/MHGaOsIS
If you look at the 5 scripts that are categorized as render blocking, only 2 of them originate from your domain. The others are loaded from remote sites by plugins. You may not be able to do anything about those.
If you move the 2 scripts from your domain so they load in the footer instead of the header, there is a chance you could break your site. Some JavaScript has to load first.
I use WP Rocket on all of my sites and those of my clients. It can help to a degree, but finding the scripts that must load in the header and which can load in the footer is a trial and error process.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou need to walk through the setup instructions. https://my.studiopress.com/documentation/essence-pro-theme/
Essence Pro was updated in January to use a block-based homepage. It doesn't use front page widgets any longer.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorSorry, Tellie. That's because I spelled it wrong in the previous post. Here's the corrected link: https://formidable-masterminds.com/.
It's still a work in progress, but there's a lot done on it already. You may also want to consider joining the Formidable Slack community or my own Formidable Masterminds Facebook group.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorBlocks are not loaded individually into the genesis_entry_content. All of your content on the page or post is stored as a single field in WordPress. Blocks are referenced as comments in the content's post_content field.
ACF Pro allows you to take any field group and create a block with it. Take your recipe field group, create it as a block, and add it to your content as you would any other block. This way you can position it anywhere you want on the page. See this: https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/resources/blocks/

If you're concerned, make a backup of your site, then update. If anything goes wrong, restore the site from your backup.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorWordPress doesn't have that functionality natively. You can't do that without a plugin or writing your own custom code.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?March 17, 2020 at 11:47 am in reply to: Executive Pro: Change Featured Page Widget Title Tags #497386Victor FontModeratorThe only way to change the featured post widget title to a h2 is to remove accessibility support for headings. With handicapped accessibility enabled, the heading is h4. Disabling handicapped accessibility for headings renders the tags as h2.
Accessibility is enabled at line 43 in Executive Pro's functions.php file. You may want to look at using WordPress conditionals to selectively remove accessibility support for headings. This way you won't deactivate accessibility for the entire site, just the home page. I suggest is_widget_active() in combination with is_front_page() and is_home(). https://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags#Is_Widget_Active

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorFrom looking at the CSS on your site, once you added the logo image to your site header, it forces the site-header to have a white background. THis is the way the theme works. The demo doesn't use an image in the header, just text.
Working out how to make your site work like the demo requires more time than I can afford to spend on this as a volunteer. I'm sure another volunteer with more time on their hands may be willing to jump in and help with this.

That jQuery library is loaded by WordPress Core. This is the standard jQuery library used by WordPress to support backward compatibility. There are plugins available that you can use to override the default WordPress jQuery library and use a later version. See this: https://geekflare.com/upgrade-jquery-latest-version-wordpress/

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe category block is from WordPress Core. It has nothing to do with the Genesis Framework or Studio Press themes.
WordPress does have a filter that may help, but you'll have to get specific help from a WordPress support group. Here is a link to the filter: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/hooks/widget_categories_dropdown_args/

Have you requested your free website audit yet?March 11, 2020 at 2:09 pm in reply to: Current Header not appearing, though it's set in the customizer #497271Victor FontModeratorConverting an old theme requires a lot more than just converting the style sheet. If the theme had custom code in functions.php, and by custom code I mean calls to Genesis hooks (actions and filters), they were written for the XHTML version of Genesis. You'll have to find the equivalent hooks in the new version of Genesis and rewite the PHP for compatibility.
