If you received an email from Nick, you should respond to the e-mail.
You would post in this forum if you had a customization type question; any support through help tickets (such as follow-up by e-mail) is separate from this forum.
SusanModeratorNext up 😉 - try this thread (from in this forum not too long ago):
SusanModeratorI'm not sure what could be causing the issue, and some research didn't immediately prevent a solution. Can you please disable all your plug-ins (all of them at the same time), and see if that resolves the issue?
If it does, go ahead and re-add the plug ins, one at a time, and see if any of your plug-ins is the culprit.
If that doesn't work, come back and post, and we'll investigate further.
SusanModeratorYou're welcome - glad you were able to resolve the issue!
SusanModeratorPerry - try this thread from yesterday: http://www.studiopress.community/topic/please-help-center-the-menu-options-on-the-nav-bar/
SusanModeratorMy next suggestion would be to add the Genesis Simple Edits plugin.
SusanModeratorSusanModeratorWhile trying to come up with a solution, I found a thread on the old forum, with a warning:
Do NOT try the editing WP files method scroll down and find the code to add to functions.php make sure you add the code BEFORE the closing ?> or the sky will fall
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/this-post-is-password-protected
Add this to your functions.php file (leave out the < code > and </ code > part...)
// Password Protected Page Message function custom_password_form($form) { $subs = array( '#<p>This post is password protected. To view it please enter your password below:</p>#' => '<p>Hopefully this works.</p>', '#<form(.*?)>#' => '<form$1>', '#<input(.*?)type="password"(.*?) />#' => '<input$1type="password"$2 />', '#<input(.*?)type="submit"(.*?) />#' => '<input$1type="submit"$2 />' ); echo preg_replace(array_keys($subs), array_values($subs), $form); } add_filter('the_password_form', 'custom_password_form');
SusanModeratorTry this: customize the footer

SusanModeratorHarold:
You can find set-up instructions for the Going Green theme under My StudioPress at the top right of this page.
If you have specific instructions for setting up the theme, you can submit a help ticket for information under "Get Help".
For customization of your theme, you can ask here in the forums for assistance.
To change the green color behind your title, you would need to replace the image - http://easyletterfolder.com/wp-content/themes/goinggreen/images/wrap-top.png - that's the green background of your site. You can replace that image by removing it from your theme fold on your host site.
Alternatively, if you don't want the image there at all, and would prefer a solid color, you can go to Dashboard > Appearances > Header, and select a solid color there.
You can use Firebug or Firebug Lite to locate any elements of your site, that will assist you in in determining what you need to change.
December 14, 2012 at 2:11 pm in reply to: Suggestion: Add ability to embed Gists here on the forum using this function #5254SusanModeratorPer this thread, and Nick's response:
Right now I’m recommending using pastie or a similar service
We are looking to use a great plugin that works for regular posts but it needs a bit more work.

SusanModeratorI'm not Brian, so I can't answer for him, but he recently published a blog post about responsive design - that might give you some answers (or not). You can read the article here
SusanModeratorYou can make any page on your site an archive page. Go ahead and create a new page, and on the right hand side, under "Page Attributes", select "Archive" as the template. Go ahead and publish the blank page, and it will publish an archive of pages, authors, months, posts etc.
You can name the page whatever you like, and the URL will be created automatically.
SusanModeratorThanks for the clarification, Jonas.
SusanModeratorI couldn't answer about the dev.studiopress. com (although I know the StudioPress team are working on an upgraded knowledge base), but I did find some helpful links:
http://my.studiopress.com/docs/building-child-themes/
SusanModeratorI couldn't immediately locate a StudioPress tutorial, but here is another one: Rename a child theme.
Whatever you do, do not change the template: genesis line in the style.css file.
SusanModeratorIf you are logged into mystudiopress, and shop for themes, the discount code is automatically applied - no need to go looking for the code.
