I don't know how to code it myself, but I found this tutorial (go to Examples > nav.bar style)
SusanModeratorJeannie - this tutorial on creating column classes might help
SusanModeratorMelissa - can you please include a link to your site, so I can take a look at your code. Thanks!
SusanModerator@WBlake - if you want to have the images rotate automatically, you should replace the static images with a slider. Since I can't see your site, I'm assuming you have it set up like the demo (with the seven static images) - otherwise, please include a link to your site.
SusanModeratorI'm glad you got your issue resolved!
SusanModeratorYes, using a free child theme and building from there is a great start.
If you would like to build your own child theme, this tutorial is also a great starting point.
SusanModeratorYou're welcome 🙂
SusanModeratorGood to know! 😉
SusanModeratorAnita - I don't know whether we are supposed to tag them (I wasn't told), but I was just sick of seeing them pop up in my "unanswered posts" search. Maybe by tagging/replying, we are encouraging the spammers? Who knows. I don't know why it's one particular subject, though!
SusanModeratorSorry, Anita, I was on an answering frenzy last night, and knocked your post off the front page. I'd answer iknew how!
SusanModeratorI would like the ability to just delete spam. Maybe they can give some "regulars" here permission to do that?
SusanModeratorI'm glad you were able to resolve the issue - I'm sorry no-one from the forum responded to your post until tonight. 🙁
SusanModeratorAnother suggestion from the old forum:
The server was in PHP safe mode. I turned that off and the images went right up.
SusanModeratorI found this thread on wordpress.org support
The latest I've been able to figure out is in how you GD Library is set up. Try a PNG image and if that works then there a a very good chance the problem lies in the ability of the GD Library to handle JPEGs. The fix appears to either upgrade the GD library and/or allowing GD to accept JPEG files.
Does it allow you to upload smaller images?
December 12, 2012 at 10:04 pm in reply to: Sidebar Pushed Beneath content on Post Page (Minimum) #4862SusanModeratorIt looks like you have the issue resolved. Please post if you are still having an issue
SusanModeratorCan you please provide a link to your site so I can take a link? Thanks 🙂
December 12, 2012 at 9:57 pm in reply to: Wanted: Expert to "Pair Program" with me whilst sharing my screen #4860SusanModeratorI would totally take a stab at it, but I've only been using StudioPress for 3 months myself - I can hold my own here in the forum when it comes to issues I know how to answer, but I'm not a designer or developer (I'm a Project Manager in real life for a reason 😉 )
SusanModeratorTo download your purchased themes, go to MyStudioPress at the top right of this page, and select “downloads” – that will give you access to all the themes you have purchased.
That will also give you access to the "how to" set-up for each of the themes.
This is the new community - if you have a question, please post it here, and someone the community members will do their best to answer your question. This forum is not "official' support however. The moderators from the old forum still visit this forum, but they spend much of their time working one on one to provide assistance to users who need assistance with getting their themes set up.
If you have a specific technical question that you need help with, you can submit a support ticket: http://my.studiopress.com/help/. Customization questions, however, should be submitted here in the community.
SusanModeratorThe social media icons are populated in the Home Featured widget areas as Text Widgets. You would just need to create your own images, load the images to your media library, and add the url for the image to the text widget, instead of adding the social media icons.
