    i would like to have a place where i can go in to see the whole list of my blog posts from the newest to the oldest, kinda like a category archive but in this case, it is a combination of all the categories. is there such a function and how do i activate it? or how do i get the url of such an archive page? my website is http://www.myradiary.com. when i type in http://www.myradiary.com/blog, it returns a 404 error.

    You can make any page on your site an archive page. Go ahead and create a new page, and on the right hand side,  under "Page Attributes", select "Archive" as the template. Go ahead and publish the blank page, and it will publish an archive of  pages, authors, months, posts etc.

    You can name the page whatever you like, and the URL will be created automatically.
