Yes. Its already been enabled on my posts, pages, archives and 404 page.
SunilMemberI've deleted them. But I still don't see my breadcrumbs.
SunilMemberYes. I copied that entire functions.php file code and pasted in notepad++.
Ok. I'll cross my fingers. I'll go on to delete those lines and see my breadcrumbs coming back on top.
SunilMemberGenwrock, before I do anything, since this is a php file, which is scary, I just want to confirm with you again about the lines I need to delete.
Do I delete this whole thing completely?
/** Relocate breadcrumbs */
remove_action( ‘genesis_before_loop’, ‘genesis_do_breadcrumbs’ );
add_action( ‘genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap’, ‘genesis_do_breadcrumbs’ );SunilMemberI want the breadcrumbs to appear on top where it used to be. So, will removing that code bring back the breadcrumbs to appear on top?
I don't want to show it on the right side bar.
SunilMemberHi Genwrock,
When I checked my functions.php file, this is what I see over there.
/** Relocate breadcrumbs */
remove_action( 'genesis_before_loop', 'genesis_do_breadcrumbs' );
add_action( 'genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap', 'genesis_do_breadcrumbs' );But I don't understand. I did not mess up anything here. Why did it disappear all of a sudden?
SunilMemberHi David,
Thanks for your advice. Yes, I do have the regenerate thumbnail plugin and the cache plugin.
The problem with the regenerate plugin is that it will generate multiple sizes for one image thus
taking up a lot of harddisk space on the server.Let's just say that you no longer need that one particular image, you need to login to your cpanel, look for that image and delete multiple versions of it.
Sridhar, I have to take a look at my css style sheet to see if that code exists. I edited this coding part multiple times and really got sick of it. I do not wish to mess around with the codes there anymore. Making just one change will mess up the entire site there! The Agency demo theme looks perfect with that sliding effect and I've tried really hard to look as good as it is.
SunilMemberOh, sorry. Realized that I missed your name at the bottom of your reply. Thanks Andrea for your support! ๐
SunilMemberI managed to do it! You can take a look at my site footer now. I'm in Singapore and its 1.50am over here. 2014 is just 2hrs old!
Thanks a lot nutsandbolts! Haha! Sorry, I don't know your name and so I have to call you like that as displayed! Happy New Year 2014 to you and the rest of the studiopress members! ๐
SunilMemberHi Anitac,
Thanks! That's all I need to know. Yes. The plugin is updated. ๐
SunilMemberHi Guys!
Thanks for the suggestions! ๐
Ok. As nutsandbolts mentioned, since my site started since 2011, and I want to change it to 2011-2014, will the year '2014' automatically change to 2015 next year while 2011 still remains?
Basically, if I do this, then is it an automated update?
SunilMemberHi Anitac, do you know how to edit the copyright info at the footer? I need to change the year to 2014.
I realize that I'm using Genesis Simple Edits. There I see the footer code as such:<div class="gototop"><p>[footer_backtotop]</p></div><div class="creds"><p>Copyright [footer_copyright] ยท Adult Acne Treatment Reviews ยท Theme by StudioPress<br><font size="2">If I create a link to a product in a review, sometimes I may get paid a commission if a visitor to my site purchases the product. For more details, please see my <u>Disclosure Policy</u>.</font></p></div>
Does this code updates the copyright year automatically?
Thanks.
SunilMemberHi Anitac,
Sorry, was busy with work. Ok. Great! Thanks for the recommended plugin for Getresponse. I'll try to download and play with it! ๐
SunilMemberHi Anitac,
I'm using Getresponse. I'm pretty new to this part. I'm in the midst of creating an ebook and I want to create an opt-in form and then integrate it in this Agency theme.
I have not created one in Getresponse yet, as I heard that you can create one over there and copy and paste the codes in the appropriate area on your site.
Basically I'm trying to create an email list with this and I want to add an image of my ebook on the side and writing a short summary in points and of course asking the visitors to fill in their names and email addresses options by the side.
My ebook is not complete yet. I just wanted to get prepared beforehand on how to do all these things.
SunilMemberSorry, but I can't seem to find a support forum for plugins. I've seen several but none has addressed this issue. So I have to create a new topic.
SunilMemberOops! Sorry. I'll post my issue over there then. Thanks Anitac.

I just looked at my site and it seems to be working! The blue button is not touching the last line of the excerpts. This is what I wanted all this while! It looks fine on all browsers. I did not add any spacing as you have mentioned above.
I'm using IE v10 and have no issues so far. But it may have a problem with the older IE browsers.
It looks fine on Safari, Firefox and Chrome too! Hey Mark! You are a genius! I'm just leaving it as it is.
Mark, there is just another problem. If you notice, below the slider, there are four small navigation buttons meant for clicking as an alternative to the arrows beside the slider. Its supposed to be at the center. I've placed it on the left, because if I placed it in the center, it will look very bad on IE browsers. It will look fine on all other browsers.
What happens is, IE will display it vertically instead of horizontally. That's horrible! You have any suggestions for this problem Mark?

Yes. Its there. I've cut and paste that code from the style.css file below. I've placed it in the last line as you have suggested.
/* Home Slider
------------------------------------------------------------ */#home-slider {
-moz-border-radius: 5px;
-webkit-border-radius: 5px;
-moz-box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999;
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999;
background-color: #fff;
border-radius: 5px;
box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999;
margin: 0 0 20px;
width: 100%;
}#home-slider p {
padding: 0 0 25px;
}.agency #genesis-responsive-slider {
-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;
border: none;
margin: 5px;
padding: 5px 0;
}.agency .slide-excerpt {
filter: alpha(opacity=100);
margin: 0;
padding: 22px 40px 22px 20px;
opacity: 1.0;
}html > body.agency .slide-excerpt-border {
border: none;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}.agency .slider-next,
.agency .slider-previous {
margin: 0 -40px;
}.flex-control-nav li {
display: block;
float: left;
margin: 0 0 0 5px;
}.agency .flex-control-nav {
margin: 20px auto;
}#home-slider a.more-link { display: inline-table; }

I did just that, and it still doesn't work. ๐
September 5, 2013 at 10:36 am in reply to: How do I duplicate my site just like the demo Agency theme? #60874SunilMemberHi Mark,
Ok. I'm very paranoid of messing up the editor. There was once I made a mistake and my entire site went blank!
This happened despite me copying and pasting the entire css.style codes into notepad.I pasted back the original codes, and it still did not work! Eventually I have to request my host to rectify the mess.
Can you tell me what exactly I should do? Should I delete the entire code chunk staring from line 1225 as you have mentioned?
When you mean placing the #home-slider a.more-link { display: inline-table; } at the end of the style sheet, do you mean right at the bottom of the style sheet or at the last line of the slider settings css code? Also where do I exactly place the !Important code?
