Are you editing the stylesheet from within the dashboard editor, or via a local copy which you're then uploading via FTP? The later is definitely the preferred way, especially if you every make any PHP changes, and not just CSS.
All that being said, try changing the other instances to see what happens, you can always change it back. And as jhguynn mentioned above, always delete your cache after making changes to insure they'll show up.
Go to your stylesheet and find line 1842. You should see the following:
.sidebar .searchform { padding: 5px 0 0 0; }Add:
float: right;to that section and it should fix it for you.
Depends on what kind of server you're on. If a shared server such as Godaddy or Host Gator, I typically use Backup Buddy, but there are several other options in the WP repository as well.
If you're worried about file size, I'd recommend downloading Image Optim, as it will strip out unnecessary info that can increase the file size. http://imageoptim.com. I run every image through it before uploading and it has drastically cut down on load time due to large images.
We built a radio station site a couple years ago and just linked directly to the feed via a text box in the header widget area. http://owensborocatholicradio.com/ Not sure if that's much help, but I think stations can differ in the type of feed they produce.

You can duplicate the landing page template, name it 'sales' or something similar, make any required changes, FTP it to the theme folder, then add the necessary styling to your stylesheet. Whenever you want to use that template for a page, just choose it from the options in the page editor. Make sense?
I added this to the functions file and seems to have fixed the issue.

Thanks Eliz. No, we didn't do the logo, John Thompson from Zebra Graphics did. He's amazing. If you need logo/graphic work, I highly recommend him. He created our current logo, and we've worked together on several client projects.

Try deactivating all your plugins and re-saving the settings. It could be that there is a plugin conflict. What theme are you using, by the way? Also, could you post a link to your site?
Hi Dorian, thanks for the feedback. For whatever reason, the client was quite content as is. But I you might be right, using a little more Oswald could help it stand out a bit.
The theme was actually designed to align left like that. The client really liked that feature since it's so different. I prefer symmetry, so it took a little getting used to, but it does stand out!
Thanks Len, they were both fun projects to work on, challenging as well because both site owners are graphic designers by trade (and I'm not!), so they were somewhat particular about how things should look. At least, more so than my normal small business clients:)
