My Theme SEO Settings Are MISSING

Not sure if this happened after the last Genesis update, but all of my Theme SEO settings are GONE! When I try to re-type them in and save they don't save either.

Any ideas?

Try deactivating all your plugins and re-saving the settings. It could be that there is a plugin conflict. What theme are you using, by the way? Also, could you post a link to your site?

Thanks. I deactivated my plugins and then reactivated and it seems to be working, but all of my theme seo settings are gone and I am going to have to re-input them.

v 1.9.1 Genesis Framework only No Child Theme. I have menu options: - Theme Settings - Import/Export - README

I do not have: SEO Settings Sidebar Settings

I have the following SEO plugins (still activated) All in One SEO Pack PushButtonSEO PLUS: Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin Akismet

Is my installation correct or do I have a problem? I would like to see SEO settings.

I deactivated All in One SEO Pack.

SEO Settings appeared.

What is Sidebar Settings all about?

Same happened for me...All in One SEO conflicts with the SEO settings from Genesis. I want to enable SEO Settings in Genesis 1.9 because I want to assign an authorship account to the homepage.

How can I do both...
1. Use All in One SEO
2. Enable Google Authorship on the homepage

All In One SEO doesn't conflict. Genesis is so smart it recognizes the active plugin and "backs down" its own SEO settings and functionality. Genesis also does this for a few other SEO plugins like Yoast's.

If you want to take advantage of the new Google Authorship feature with 1.9 I suggest using the plugin SEO Data Transporter to convert your All In One SEO data/info to Genesis, then deactivate & delete All In One SEO.

Be sure to to do a complete backup first.

I also have one other site using an older version of Agency theme (www.hawaii-bankruptcy.com/), which will display the SEO settings menu with 1.9, BUT the settings have no effect on the authorship (meaning there is no rel='author' line of code. Other SEO Settings work like title and description.

I also tried using Google Plus Authorship plugin (which has worked on other sites prior to Genesis 1.9), but has no effect on this older theme.

Is this something that is an inherent issue with older Genesis child themes? Or something else I'm doing wrong?

I found that Genesis replaced 3 of my standard plugins:

All in One SEO Pack
Homepage Excerpts
Quick Page/Post Redirect

and performed all the various tasks comfortably.

I purchased Genesis about 6 months ago for a theme.
Then my client disappeared so I did nothing with it.
Plus I was a bit peeved by the forum and support.
I reviewed the new Forum & MyStudioPress options - excellent improvement!
I installed on another blog - impressed!
And the W3C compliance of the pages that Genesis produced - made me smile!

Once you select the G Plus author, you also need to have your G Plus link in the user profile settings page.

Yes, I already had it setup in the "Google Plus profile information" section of the User profile. It was only when I added the link to the Contact Info/Google+ section of the user profile did it validate with the structured data testing tool.

I hope that helps someone else.
