Got it! Thank you!
pixiegrlMemberI am using the Genesis Responsive Slider. I guess I can put the slider image in the featured image area of the post, without that affecting the image that actually shows in the post. Is that correct? I was thinking that the featured image had to match what was in the post.
pixiegrlMemberGot it!
pixiegrlMemberHi Karla,
I am going to check out the info you sent. This is the post I was referring to if it helps! Thanks!

pixiegrlMemberOn a desktop, it is fine, but not on mobile. It shows the header and above it in black writing, the name of my blog.
pixiegrlMemberAwesome! You freaking rock!!! Thank you so much!
pixiegrlMemberThank you!!
pixiegrlMemberI actually went with the plugin Genesis Grid Loop and it worked for me.
pixiegrlMemberThank you!
As I am not that great with coding, can I use the same basic rule that apply for the 767 or do I need to write brand new rues specific to the 480?
pixiegrlMemberThat one says it hasn't been updated in over 2 years and isn't compatible with the current WP edition. Thanks anyway!
I'm hoping there is some coding I can just do. I hate to overload my blog with plugins.pixiegrlMemberThank you!!!
pixiegrlMemberI need to add an additional home page widget to a site, just below the static page content. I want to display 2 columns in th widget which will contain 4 videos. Can someone please give me the instructions on how to do it. I had found a tutorial on adding duplicate widgets, but since the Genesis Child Theme does not have a home/php page, I could not add the additional code to make it work. Does anyone have any ideas?
pixiegrlMemberThanks. I know there is specific coding for placement, so I'm not going to play around with it.
pixiegrlMemberI added the code in both places and it did not change anything. I am wondering if the problem is that I am using the Adorable theme. Also, in the code it has a specific size for a landscape picture, but sometimes my featured image is a portrait image. Is there a way to allow for that as well?
pixiegrlMemberAwesome! Thank you so much and thanks for getting back to me so quickly! 🙂
pixiegrlMemberThanks. I actually just saw a post that said if I leave the featured image box empty and just insert the picture where I want it, Genesis will create a thumbnail featured image for my landing page. I tried it and it worked, but does that cause an issue with it being a responsive theme, etc. or should I go ahead and do as you suggested?
pixiegrlMemberI love the iThemes and it is what I want, I just really didn't want to spend money on something I might not end up using in the long run. I'll have to keep looking. Thanks!
pixiegrlMemberThe theme developer is trying to figure out why I am missing an easy "add background" section. It should have come with it. Thanks anyway!
pixiegrlMemberI compared the code to my other blog which uses the same theme and actually replaced my code with it. Then I made changes. It works now! It appears there were a few tweaks that had to be done. Thanks for the help!
pixiegrlMemberThis is the only code I can find in css:
li,
ol,
ul {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
}ol li {
list-style-type: :decimal;
}I spoke to the theme developers and they said it matches mine and should work and to deactivate the plugins to see if there is a conflict. If that didn't work, then they wanted me to give them my user name and password. Deactivating didn't work and I am not sure it's wise to give them full access to my site.
I don't know coding that well, but it would seem if I am putting in a ul list, that there should be coding to match that, not just the ol list. Am I missing something?
