MemberWill the solution mentioned in Zeldman's article here - http://www.zeldman.com/2012/03/01/replacing-the-9999px-hack-new-image-replacement/ - help with this?

MemberThanks Ginger for pointing to the Facebook group; found the question there and it solved exactly what I was looking for.

MemberIt is partway resolved, but I'm still having trouble with javascript forcing different sizes than what are set in the plugin controls. I'll mark this as resolved, and try to figure out how to better word the problem as it stands now. Thanks Susan!

MemberThank you braddalton, that worked for me, I also had a missing } from the media query above it that was preventing anything I tried from working.

MemberHi Chrissy,
I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for here? Did you figure out what you needed or is this still an open problem?

MemberHi Kirsten,
Trying to help with some old unanswered posts. I see you have a different site up now apparently. Did you get this problem figured out?

MemberThanks @braddalton, that helped clean up the look definitely, but it still seems to be pulling random ad images to go with results.
Any other ideas out there?

MemberThanks Marc! I knew it was in there but figured I was "code blind" after a long day.

MemberThank you!
I couldn't find exactly where the div needed closed so I just put a closing tag after the last Simple Hook I used before the footer, and it did the trick perfectly!

MemberOK, so I absolutely could not figure out what was going on.
I deleted the entire post after copying it to notepad++, and then created a new post and pasted everything back in exactly the same. It is now displaying correctly, so the client is happy.
However, I would still very much like to know what happened, how it happened, and perhaps how to prevent it from happening, so if anyone has any ideas, feel free to share them please.

MemberAnd to add to my confusion, I just deleted the photos code completely and the bottom went away as it should, but the top graphic ad was still there.

MemberNo, not a featured image.
Here is the code she has at the bottom of the post:
<a href="http://www.locateasmallbusiness.com" target="_blank"><img class="alignleft wp-image-21789 size-full" title="Click to go to LocateASmallBusiness.com (opens new window.)" src="http://njvendors.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/locatesmallbusiness300.jpg" alt="Display Ad for LocateASmallBusiness.com" width="300" height="300" /></a> <a href="http://www.sjpumpkinshow.com" target="_blank"><img class="alignright wp-image-16534 size-full" title="Click to go to SJPumpkinShow.com (opens new window.)" src="http://njvendors.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/pumpkin-show-300-ad.jpg" alt="Display Ad for SJPumpkinShow.com" width="300" height="300" /></a>

MemberHere is a screen cap that maybe will help illustrate what I'm trying to say...

MemberYes, that is the graphic. The home page is that single post. And that particular ad graphic is coded/inserted into the bottom left corner of the post. There is nothing there that should have it appearing at the top...And yet, there it is.
That is what I am trying to figure out, WHY is it showing up at the top as well as the bottom where it is supposed to be?

MemberThank you nunotmp! That was exactly what I needed.
And thanks to everyone else for your input, I sincerely appreciate it!

MemberThanks Anita, but that didn't do the trick either. I installed that plugin and it is doing the same thing that the text widget did - as soon as I "save" it, it strips out any code.
I used Web Developer to edit the site and it worked perfectly but as soon as I save it that way in the widget (either widget) the line break is stripped.
I currently have both the standard text widget and the Linkable Title, HTML and PHP Widget in the Home Top widget area and both display exactly the same.
Any other suggestions or ideas on how to get this to display as
Welcome to Nanty Glo <br />Church of the Nazarene

MemberLook for something in this area:
/* Line 894 */ .site-header .widget-area a:hover { color: #f04848; }
That is where I started to tinker with mine to change the header widget menu.

MemberTony, do you, or anyone else, have any ideas for the mobile display of the enews extended widget?
