A client added a graphic to the bottom left of her home page but for some reason it is mysteriously also appearing in the top left of her page. I've gone thru everything a couple of times and I can't figure out why this is happening.

I have her using the Going Green theme, and the site in question is http://njvendors.com/

I have her using the same theme, and same css on http://www.pa-vendors.com/ and everything works fine there.

Can anyone please help me figure out what is causing the image on njvendors.com to appear in both places, and how to get it to only appear at the bottom where it is supposed to be?

    Thanks!

    Grace and Peace,

Are you talking about the green box with "Find small businesses in your neighbourhood etc."? It is part of the post on this page and is being pulled into the home page

Yes, that is the graphic. The home page is that single post. And that particular ad graphic is coded/inserted into the bottom left corner of the post. There is nothing there that should have it appearing at the top...And yet, there it is.

That is what I am trying to figure out, WHY is it showing up at the top as well as the bottom where it is supposed to be?

Here is a screen cap that maybe will help illustrate what I'm trying to say...

Just an idea, but did she maybe click Featured image, that sometimes causes double display of an image.

    No, not a featured image.

Here is the code she has at the bottom of the post:
    <a href="http://www.locateasmallbusiness.com" target="_blank"><img class="alignleft wp-image-21789 size-full" title="Click to go to LocateASmallBusiness.com (opens new window.)" src="http://njvendors.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/locatesmallbusiness300.jpg" alt="Display Ad for LocateASmallBusiness.com" width="300" height="300" /></a> <a href="http://www.sjpumpkinshow.com" target="_blank"><img class="alignright wp-image-16534 size-full" title="Click to go to SJPumpkinShow.com (opens new window.)" src="http://njvendors.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/pumpkin-show-300-ad.jpg" alt="Display Ad for SJPumpkinShow.com" width="300" height="300" /></a>

And to add to my confusion, I just deleted the photos code completely and the bottom went away as it should, but the top graphic ad was still there.

OK, so I absolutely could not figure out what was going on.

I deleted the entire post after copying it to notepad++, and then created a new post and pasted everything back in exactly the same. It is now displaying correctly, so the client is happy.

However, I would still very much like to know what happened, how it happened, and perhaps how to prevent it from happening, so if anyone has any ideas, feel free to share them please.
