DTHkellyMemberIf you choose a StudioPress childtheme, with no customization - voila! Not difficult. But also not what you are looking to do?
Consider a StudioPress childtheme http://my.studiopress.com/themes/ with Design Palette Pro:
http://www.carriedils.com/genesis-design-palette-pro-vs-genesis-extender/The plugin runs on top of your Genesis child theme and includes a Settings panel, where you can adjust font families, sizes, colors, margin, and more. ALL WITHOUT TOUCHING CODE. Did I mention you never have to open up your style sheet or write any CSS?
I have Cobalt Apps' Dynamik-Gen ChildTheme and also Genesis Extender (with Magazine Pro). Both are great! I have learned a lot more about Genesis and WordPress using each. Also great.
How much change do you need from the default Dynamik-Gen?
http://demo.dynamiktheme.com/
Dynamik-Gen customizer requires no code. And has features similar to those described for DPPyou can adjust font families, sizes, colors, margin, and more. ALL WITHOUT TOUCHING CODE.
Bottom line: it is not difficult to do this with Dynamik-Gen.
But Dynamik-Gen does so much more for folks who also want to learn some CSS and PHP. Consider that an optional bonus.
Genesis framework has so many more tutorials/code snippets from StudioPress and independent Genesis developers (in this Forum, on their blogs) than the other WordPress framework I started with. How awesome is that? One of the best features of switching to Genesis.
Hope this helps.

Also, search this forum for "News Pro Menu."
Cobalt App's Genesis Extender http://vimeo.com/60015888
offers Front End CSS editing and can help you locate the selectors to change CSS.Dynamik-Gen (Cobalt App's childtheme) lets you change nav colors, etc. without coding. Both are great.
No CSS/no coding options:

It really helps.http://genesistutorials.com/visual-hook-guide/
What about genesis_after_header hook? Because it's above Content sidebar wrap, this hooks above site inner, too.genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap is within site-inner.
Image added via widget area under header?
http://www.carriedils.com/add-widget-area-below-nav/And then negative top margin to move drop shadow up closer to header?

DTHkellyMemberPerhaps you can hire one of the many Genesis Developers from this Forum (which is what I recommend).
You need to find out what the current width of Executive Pro is before you can change it. The CSS specifying the current width is the code you need to change in order to
customize the size of the main body content
I don't know if this is something StudioPress Support will help with, but perhaps you should submit a Help Ticket and see if they will give you the style.css code to change?
Trying this on your own, you need Notepad++ on your PC (I don't know the MAC version).
http://notepad-plus-plus.org/You have the zip file from StudioPress for Executive Pro. On your desktop (off-line only), open the zip file and look at the names of all the folders and files inside.
Find style.css
Open style.css from NotePad++
Look through the Table of Contents.
Find the section ` Structure and Layout
- Site Containers
- Column Widths and Positions
- Column Classes`
I'm guessing Executive Pro has the above.I don't have Executive Pro so I can't show you the Table of Contents for style.cssWhat I recommended here for Magazine Pro is the same process you need.
DTHkellyMemberHave you found Executive Pro's CSS regarding its "out of the box" widths?
Start there - what are the standard widths?DTHkellyMemberThis may be relevant:
DTHkellyMemberBased on #114032 , you should consider Cobalt Apps (Genesis Extender). I have Extender as well as their Dynamik ChildTheme (on different wp installations).
Extender lets you create Custom Hook Boxes [custom content areas for php, html, css, widget areas, etc.) which would answer #114032.

That is Category meta [displayed]. And when you click on the category, it takes you to the automatically-generated category archive.
By contrast, your posts do not have this, which is why I asked if you removed post meta. Not meant as a critique. Just an observation.
DTHkellyMemberGreat! Please mark your thread "resolved" - it's at the top.
