Not that I am aware of.
I feel your pain Kayaismail. The new theme is horrible.
I think Studiopress is out of ideas. Their themes all look identical. This flat box look is getting old. The old theme was unique. Now it looks identical to the other themes. Just a different layout.
Adding a few styles for search forms from a single plugin on the market is hardly justification for this theme. You could have just released a few lines of css in a snippet to upgrade ANY of the themes on studiopress that look identical to this one. lol
Joseph LeeMemberI have tried hooking the remove_actions in to the admin init. Still no avail.
I've also looked at a few 3rd party developer themes that use those exact same actions, and they are not firing on the devs site.
Joseph LeeMemberArn't you just a helpful person! 🙂
I google searched the oogle out of that. Couldn't find anything Genesis specific.
Joseph LeeMemberYea, the plugin author is doing the call correctly. There is no default layout. The plugin is using the custom page template genesis sets. If you add a body class, or remove the header, it works. The only thing that does not work is the layout function.
Joseph LeeMemberI've used that table in every genesis theme. It's never done that. I dont' see any css in inspector supporting that it should be doing it. It's actually width 100%, so it shouldn't be over the parent div like that.
Joseph LeeMemberI see. So if that is the header.php where would I find the function do_action('genesis_header');
I am trying to use either genesis or woothemes. Woothemes is more traditional. You just copy the markup from page.php and make adjustments. Genesis requires a lot of knowledge of genesis, that they don't really bother to document/tutorial.
I like your site btw.
Joseph LeeMemberWhere did you find genesis_do_header.
Can genesis remove any div with a function? I don't understand how the framework assembles the page. I add actions to hooks easily enough. Though I don't know where the documentation is for all of the functions that print out the structure of the page.
Thanks for helping thus far NutsandBolts.
Joseph LeeMemberI wanted to remove the header in php, not in css. Css still causes it to be loaded then hidden. I don't like imagining that everytime I want to remove something on genesis I have to display none it. It's tasking to client browsers. Not that it's a huge task, it's just not right. I could achieve this on server side, if genesis documented the actions better.
I see all of the hooks. I just don't see the actions documented. So it's not easy to know what to remove.
Joseph LeeMemberIs there a way to privately message/email one another from the forums?
Joseph LeeMemberAre you a web developer?
Joseph LeeMemberWhat do you like about html5boilerplate ?
Joseph LeeMemberAny photo I put in there, does the same thing, it shrinks just a bit to short.
Joseph LeeMemberYea, but when I upload the image it's 1500x something. I don't knwo hwo to get it to output it the correct width
Joseph LeeMember@braddalton, I would like to use bootstrap on my genesis too. To really get behind that though, I'd need a reliable menu plugin for genesis that gives me access to the walker class without having to code that everytime. Something like simple edits but to dictate the menu markup easily.

Joseph LeeMemberBradDalton, you know what really disappoints me about the genesis community...
We, as a community, haven't made a repository of code. Like bootstrap for twitter. Why don't we get together and make like 40+ options for menus. CSS styles that can be copy/paste in to a style sheet to redo the nav menu.
What do you think?
Joseph LeeMemberI love your site braddalton, perhaps I will write up what I learned on this subject and guest post on your blog. I did figure it out. 🙂
Joseph LeeMemberI liked your facebook page.
Perhaps you can assist me with what I am trying to accomplish.
I have a loop
http://mainstreetproperty.com/agents/that displays realtors. I want links at the top for each of the alphabets, then click, and query the loop for title that starts with "A" or "B" or "C" depending on which link you click.
So I am trying to write the template.
I guess the A, B, C, D, E, F, G has to be a form that posts the alphabet, then a loop that checks $_POST[], then does a statement that puts in the alphabet to the loop.
What query in WP allows me to search a loop this way? Please help! 🙂
Joseph LeeMemberSo I can call a query to the loop on this framework the same as I do on WP. I don't have to use the snippets provided on site that do a lot of "genesis" specific stuff...
