MemberBrad:
Thanks for the widget logic recommendation. This is the first I've heard of that particular plugin.
As for the banner ad in a text widget, I should have mentioned that I am having problems getting a standard 250 x 250 pixel banner to fit in the sidebar of my Genesis theme using a text widget. That is the reason I was looking at Genesis Simple Hooks.
In regard to this issue I am having with the 250 x 250 banner, how do I widen the sidebar? If you go to my domain, WebBusinessResearch.com, you can see where the banner ad needs a little more room on the right edge.
Thanks for the help, Brad. I appreciate it.

MemberThanks Susan. The other potential solution is get a WordPress plugin that will allow me to manage my ads and placement from the plugin. I am trying to limit the number of plugins on my blog, so I leaning toward your solution. I'll give it a try.
Thanks again.

MemberSusan:
I went into the media library and deleted the image, but it is still showing in the blog post. I logged out of my admin panel and then logged back in and the image is gone.
Thank you so much. I appreciate the help and the very fast response.
I do have one other question. Is there a way for me to have an image appear in every post?
For example, if there is a product that I want to promote on my blog and I want a banner ad to appear in or above each post, is there a way for me to insert a banner ad in every post on my blog?
Thanks, Susan.

P.S. Riavon, I appreciate your help too.

MemberYes, there is a tutorial that came with the theme. But it did not mention anything about how to get your widgets to show up in the sidebar and how to get your posts to appear on the homepage.
No worries. I should not have troubled you with this request.
This is very basic stuff that should be automatic with every WordPress theme. I don't have time to deal with this so I am just going to move on from the Megalithe theme. I don't like asking for refunds -- but I'm going to have to in this case. I've purchases several StudioPress themes in the past and I have been quite please with all the StudioPress themes. But in my opinion, Megalithe is an inferior product.

MemberAnd I thought I was the only one who is dazed and confused over this new setup.
I purchases the new Megalithe theme and I just wasted 90 minutes of my life trying to get even the most basic stuff to show on my site (e.g. blog posts on the home page and widgets in the sidebar). Still no luck. And nowhere do I see any instructions on how to resolve these issues.
I have purchased six or seven StudioPress themes in the past year. This one just may be my last.
