How did you change the default metro dashed line separators to just a solid line?

When I change that it doesn't do anything to the [...] that comes after my post excerpt. Very strange.
jcarlsonMemberI'll try that out, thanks. I love your website design!
February 11, 2015 at 12:22 pm in reply to: Error When Trying to Edit Custom Header Function [Metro Pro] #140494jcarlsonMemberI'm just trying to change the header so that I can insert a different size logo than the default size, which is too small.
I've also made the following CSS edits to the header:
/*Header Style Edits*/.header-widget-area .widget img {height: 100%;} .header-widget-area .widget { margin-bottom: 10px; } .site-header .widget-area { float: right; width: 728px;} .title-area { float: left; padding: 0; width: 340px; height: 100px; }
February 9, 2015 at 7:53 pm in reply to: Why When I Add Custom Images to My Header It Adds Padding? [Metro Pro] #140277jcarlsonMemberOk, thanks. That seems to address the padding issue I'm having.
I found this guide: http://wpsites.net/web-design/customize-header-logo-banner-images-in-metro-theme/
and it shows how to do basically exactly what I want. However the custom header code--
add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array(
'flex-height' => true,
'height' => 87,
'width' => 1080
) );is different from what is in my Metro Pro functions.php, which is:
add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
'width' => 270,
'height' => 80,
'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
'header-text' => false
) );Editing the values of this function makes the Header tab on my theme customization disappear.
Any thoughts on how I can apply this guide to my theme? (I'm assuming the cause of this is that there have been updates to the Metro Pro theme since this guide was written.
Thanks!
jcarlsonMemberHi, thanks for that link. I tried it and it didn't do anything either. Which leads me to wonder if there is something wrong with my site itself why it isn't having any effect. I really haven't done much editing to my site yet though or customizations, so this is really strange.
February 7, 2015 at 6:56 pm in reply to: How to add Social Media Widget icons to Metro Primary Nav Bar #140060jcarlsonMemberWould it be easier to insert the social media buttons into the navigation container instead, without using the custom widget I created with Simple Sidebar?
February 7, 2015 at 4:10 pm in reply to: How to add Social Media Widget icons to Metro Primary Nav Bar #140052jcarlsonMemberOk, I've added it back.
