How to add Social Media Widget icons to Metro Primary Nav Bar

I'm wondering if anyone can help me on how to add the Social Media Widget icons to the right side of my primary navigation bar. I'm using the Metro Pro child theme. I've tried a few different guides and have not had any luck (the last one got the icons to show up but they appeared on the left side a line below the main menu buttons. I have a Simple Sidebar widget area created already. Also, will this adversely affect the mobile display in any way? Thanks!

Ok, I've added it back.

Hmm, I still can't quite place it. I see some of the classes, but I'm not exactly sure what's going on. The social media icons seem to be in a separate container, and the navigation container is set to width 100%, which I believe is pushing the icons down to the next line. You either need to get the social media icons into the navigation container, or give the navigation container a smaller width (80% for instance), and your social container 20%, so it can slide in next to it.

That's about as much info as I can offer, unfortunately. That being said, take a crack at what I said if you can, if not, leave it as is, because it'll be easier for someone else to figure out in its current state.

Would it be easier to insert the social media buttons into the navigation container instead, without using the custom widget I created with Simple Sidebar?
