I just looked at the site and your submenu links appear to be working properly.

Ren VenturaMemberIt looks like Brad's tutorial code is only available to paid members. If you want access, you'd need to register on his site.
If you're comfortable enough with PHP, you could try something like:
1. Register the layout
2. Create a template that appends sidebars to the end of the content
3. Use the template_redirect action for when your layout is selected
4. Style the sidebarsNote that I have not tried this and there may be a better way to do it.

December 18, 2014 at 2:04 pm in reply to: Custom Archive Page – Post Titles ONLY in Column Format #134835Ren VenturaMemberYou can create a custom archive page for a taxonomy. Here's a link to the WordPress template hierarchy that will help get you started:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy
Since you're modifying the actual loop, you will want to use your own custom loop by removing the Genesis default and hooking your new one to the genesis_loop hook. Here's the basic structure:
You can also create a custom query if needed.
Hopefully that helps.

Ren VenturaMemberDid you remove any media queries? Your menu isn't adjusting in width when the screen size changes.

Ren VenturaMemberIf you look closely, there's a bit of white space between the slider and "Space Planning · Interior Design · Project Management" on every slide except that last one. On line 879 of your style.css is the following:
.widget ul > li:last-child, .widget p:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; }
This is removing all bottom margin from any last child li or p in your widgets. Since your slides are list items, this is what's causing the extra spacing to go away on the last slide.

Ren VenturaMemberYou're running an old version of Genesis but I don' think that would cause random changes. However, you should consider updating Genesis.
1. Have you or anyone else made any changes to the child theme in any way? (also applies for #3) This usually happens when the text-indent for the title and description are off. When you use a header image, they are still technically visible but pushed way off the screen using a text-indent of something like -9999px.
2. The sidebar looks fine to me. It aligns perfectly with the right side of the header.
3. Are you using any design-related plugins?
Usually, a change in the child theme (even something minor that you may not remember) is what causes stuff like that to happen. I've also seen plugins that insert their own CSS cause some changes in a design.

Ren VenturaMemberA CRM is a legitimate solution if you need one. If you only have a few minor pieces of information you need to save and a CRM seems like overkill, then the custom user meta would be a good option. I also just discovered a few plugins for easily managing user meta:

Ren VenturaMemberThis is possible. You have to use a link menu item and include the URL to the correct section's ID. For example, if you have a section with an ID of "services", your link would be http://www.yoursite.com/#services. Each section must contain a unique ID or it won't work. Also, this link will point to an ID of services on the home page only. You need to adjust the URL if the section is not on your home page. Hopefully that helps.

Ren VenturaMemberThis one is pretty helpful for gaining and understanding of layout options and how to create them:

Ren VenturaMemberYes, it's definitely possible to create "backend" user data that the member won't have access to and will not be collected on a registration form. This isn't a feature I'm aware of in any membership plugin (i.e. MemberPress) so it would likely need to be coded out.

Ren VenturaMemberMove the image outside of the first paragraph tag. It's forcing the image to be part of that paragraph, which is causing the extra space.

Ren VenturaMemberDid you include the first opening PHP tag when you pasted the snippet? If so, you will need to remove it. The only code you should paste into your functions.php is:
//* Customize the entire footer remove_action( ‘genesis_footer’, ‘genesis_do_footer’ ); add_action( ‘genesis_footer’, ‘sp_custom_footer’ ); function sp_custom_footer() { ?> <p>© Copyright 2012 My Domain · All Rights Reserved · Powered by WordPress · Admin</p> <?php }

Ren VenturaMemberI'm only vaguely familiar with Dynamik but I believe there is an area for custom functions. Just paste any PHP in there.

Ren VenturaMemberI wrote a post on adding Font Awesome icons to your Genesis navigation. It should help you do what you're trying to do.

December 15, 2014 at 11:09 am in reply to: Favicon is not showing on site, only in dashboard #134594Ren VenturaMemberPersonally, I like to add favicons via the genesis_pre_load_favicon hook. Once the code is added, the favicon normally appears right away.
add_filter( 'genesis_pre_load_favicon', 'my_custom_favicon' ); function my_custom_favicon( $favicon_url ) { return 'http://domain.com/path-to-favicon'; }

Ren VenturaMemberHi, Anahare. To answer #3, there are a number of reasons but, in my experience, it's usually because 1.) they want to feel like they've locked in a lower rate before increasing the functionality required or 2.) they don't realize that many modifications require a lot of time and, often, "small" features/changes are not so small. If their requests are not things that were initially discussed, just tell them that and let them know if any of those new requests are beyond your expertise. It's not your fault that they didn't bring those things up sooner.
Regarding everything else, you're not really looking for a database but, rather, a way to store various member information. Correct? The best way to go will likely be with some custom user meta.
Depending on your comfort level with PHP, you may be interested in a post I wrote on creating membership sites without a dedicated membership plugin. Here's the link:
