At line 4465 of your style.css you have:
.header-image .site-title a { background-position: center center !important; background-size: contain !important; display: block; float: left; min-height: 90px; text-indent: -9999px; width: 100%;
Try changing
min-height: 90px;
tomin-height: 200px;
or whatever value suits you best.

EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantAdd the following to your style.css:
.entry-content ul li { margin: 0 0 0 20px !important; }
If you want more space increase the 3rd '0' to whatever value you want.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantI'm not quite sure what youare trying to achieve but perhaps this is it:
At line 1132 of your style.css you have:
.entry-meta { color: #F5A69E; font-size: 1.4rem; }
If you add a
margin-bottom: 5rem;
afterfont-size: 1.4rem;
(or whatever value you want)
this will increase the space between your entry meta and the divider.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantAt line 787 of your style.css you have:
.widget { margin-bottom: 1rem; word-wrap: break-word; }
Reducing the value of margin-bottom will decrease the space between the widgets (for example, margin-bottom: .5rem;)
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantFor now I am replying about the header background only.
I think the reason why you are not seeing the damask background is because your header image has a solid background which os overlayong the original image.
I think you need to leave out that solid background from your 'cropped-0219-final4-header-background-head-only5.png' and leave the background transparent.

EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantHas anyone here any experience of the Booking plugin from templatic.com? I have played around with the demo and it looks OK.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantAt lone 1011 of your style.css you have something like:
.site-header .wrap { padding: 4rem 0;
You need to change the padding at the bottom like this:
padding-bottom: 0;
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantIf I understand you correctly you are referring to the favicon.
If you go to your theme's images folder you should find a favicon there already (favicon.ico). Delete it and upload your own favicon. It may take a while for it to show up but it will appear eventually.There are lots of online favicon generators to create a favicon from your own image.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantAnother alternative is:
At about Line 986 of your stylesheet you have:
.genesis-nav-menu a { border-top-width: 2px; border-top-style: solid; border-top-color: transparent; color: #ffffff; display: block; padding-top: 1.8rem; padding-right: 1.6rem; padding-bottom: 2rem; padding-left: 1.6rem; position: relative; }
You can gain more space by reducing the padding-left and padding-right values.
You could also use a narrower font instead of the one set here:
.genesis-nav-menu { clear: both; color: #fff; font-family: 'Spinnaker', sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-size: 1.4rem; line-height: 1.5; width: 100%; }
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantIn the stylesheet responsive-slider.css at line 37 you have:
.flexslider { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF; border: 4px solid #FFFFFF; border-radius: 5px; position: relative; }
You can change the border color, width and radius there.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantAs far as I know if you use the text editor (as opposed to the visual editor), no matter how many spaces you type in, only one will show up.
Perhaps this is because most typography experts insist that there should be only one space after a period.
Have you tried using the visual editor? This will usually insert as many spaces as you want.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipanteamonmoriartyParticipantIn your style sheet
add.entry-title { background-color: #C91414; }
or whatever color you prefer.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantThat code should work.
Have you closed the bracket? '}'
Do you have a URL where we can see?
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantAt line 906 0f your style.css you have:
.header-image .site-title a { float: left; min-height: 400px; width: 100%; }
Try changing to
min-height: 200px;
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantYou can do it through CSS. There are probably better ways but this should work.
At line 56 of your style.css you have#topnav { color: #FFFFFF; font-family: Arial,Tahoma,Verdana; font-size: 14px; height: 40px; margin: 0 auto; padding: 0; width: 960px; }
If you add
display: none;
after width: 960px;
that should do it.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantAt about line 430 of your styles.css you have:
.site-container { background-color: #FFFFFF; border: 1px solid #E3E3E3; margin: 6rem auto; max-width: 1140px;
If you reduce the 6rem it will reduce the space above your page.
I don't fully understand part 2 of your question.
Eamon Moriarty
EM DzineeamonmoriartyParticipantAt around line 1047 of your style.css you have:
#content .entry-content p { padding-top: 20px;
Reduce the 20px to anything down to 0px as you wish.
You can change the color of words in the page editor. The button is on the second row of buttons. If you can't see the second row click the last button on the first row to 'show/hide the Kitchen Sink'
Changing the text size of words is not possible from there. There is a plugin to add that functionality to the editor but it is best avoided in my opinion.
