IDX LeadsMember
Tom, your post is pretty much just SPAM for affiliate marketing, or did I miss some significant contribution you brought to the discussion?

IDX LeadsMemberAgentPress Pro is a solid platform for displaying content from numerous IDX services. How IDX content is integrated into widget areas etc. varies by IDX service provider. Although I have no familiarity with idxnw, it is commonplace for IDX service providers to include widgets of this sort. Or at the very least make it possible to link to a specific IDX listing details page.

IDX LeadsMemberSome MLSs provide a basic framed solution, or sometimes something a little more sophisticated. Regardless of what your client's MLS offers, there is an industry of third-party IDX data service providers. Just google IDX for realtors and you will see what I am talking about. Most of these third-party providers offer plugins or other ways to integrate the IDX content into WordPress.

IDX LeadsMemberThemes are not IDX data service providers. That's an industry unto itself. There are numerous Genesis-based themes that work well with various IDX providers' data services.
To summarize the benefits of IDX, it can be most simply be described as offering website visitors the whole inventory, instead of just your client's firm listings. Your client may or may not care to display other firm's listings if they are focused on presentation of their own listings. IDX appeals to agents, teams and firms that want to work with buyers, or both buyers and sellers, but it lacks appeal to firms that only represent sellers.
The same can be said for firms that specialize in property management. Just change the terminology used to lessee and lessor, or whatever it is called in the market your client is serving.

IDX LeadsMemberThe good news is this can be done. You will first need to set up a custom link that returns the IDX results you want displayed. Then create a wrapper for it and assign that wrapper to the link. You will also need a way of assigning the specific widget content to the footer and sidebar areas of that wrapper. There are several plugins available which allow you to specify what widget content is displayed, whether by page or post ID, category, etc..
The bad news is you will have to repeat the process for each custom link you want to be displayed in a custom wrapper. That can become an organizational challenge, especially regarding how to manage the widget content.

IDX LeadsMemberThat's just 2 in the example above. Do you have an xml sitemap?

IDX LeadsMemberThere is no IDX functionality native to the AgentPress theme. It and the AgentPress Listings plugin are an excellent solution for in house inventories.

IDX LeadsMemberAgent Evolution offers responsive real estate themes designed for Genesis. Their "Picture Perfect" theme is both responsive and includes styling for the AgentPress Listings Plugin. I have never used any of their themes with APLP, so I don't know what their claim of "styling" means, but I have used their Turn Key theme and it was everything they promised it would be.

IDX LeadsMemberNot knowing what your other website uses for listing data I can suggest IDX Broker offers this functionality. I am pretty sure other IDX solutions providers do as well. With IDX Broker it's a copy and paste piece of code that's very easy to implement. Results would be displayed at the site dedicated to your IDX data.

IDX LeadsMemberJessica,
I have been doing this for years. I have done the trial and error, price shopping, research, etc.. I am convinced what I am using is the very best combination of products available for my needs. My needs are driving organic search traffic to my website using primarily IDX content, and capturing revenue-producing leads in the form of buyers.
What does your client want their website to do?

IDX LeadsMemberJessica,
Here is an example of an IDX integration using IDX Broker Platinum, Genesis and the child theme called Turn Key.
I used AgentPress for several years before switching to Eleven40 for mobile responsiveness, and ultimately to what I am currently using because TK is the total package with regard to mobile responsiveness and ease of integration with my IDX solution provider.
I should point out there are numerous IDX solutions providers to choose from, and most IDX solutions will integrate pretty seamlessly into Genesis and any of its child themes.

IDX LeadsMemberWhy would you want it to be <h3>? I would want that to be both the title and the <h1>, as it already is on the page you linked. This is assuming you want to get that page indexed in front of others displaying the same property. Repeating your title and <h1> as a <h3> on the same page probably won't help much. Good luck!

IDX LeadsMemberJake,
There is a Genesis child theme specifically designed for IDX Broker Platinum offered by Agent Evolution called Turn Key. That's all I will say. Good luck!

IDX LeadsMemberIDX LeadsMemberI agree, very nice! My only suggestions are to replace the Genesis favicon and footer credits with your own logo .ico and credit info. The Genesis Favicon uploader and Genesis Simple Edits plugins will take care of these "picky" details. Once again, very nice job!

IDX LeadsMemberHere's a total php novice solution.
I just use the Genesis Favicon Uploader Plugin by Christopher Cochran, and have for a couple of years. I am yet to update to 3 .5 .2 so I don't know if that is a problem for this plugin or not. It has however endured numerous other updates without any problems.
Question for the advanced posters.
Is there some reason not to use this plugin? I think it's fairly "lightweight" and has never caused any conflicts that I am aware of.
