Hi Bob,
To delete a theme and reinstall it, visit Appearance > Themes from your admin dashboard and click the theme you'd like to delete on the next page. It will popup in a display box and a delete option will be to the bottom right. After that, you should be able to re-upload it.
I'm sorry to hear you deleted your pages. Web pages have nothing to do with reinstalling a theme, unless your were trying to set a static front page. Is any of this sounding familiar or helpful so far?
ErikaParticipantHi Destin,
Genesis has built in SEO fields for each post and page, so that'll help with SEO once you make the switch. Alternatively, you could use the Yoast SEO plugin.
ErikaParticipantPat,
I agree with Victor. I don't think you need a custom post type, considering all posts will follow the same layout/idea. What you may need to do is some CSS styling to achieve the look you want, however.
ErikaParticipantWelcome! 🙂
September 22, 2017 at 11:04 am in reply to: [Executive Pro] How to Remove WooCommerce Breadcrumbs #211756ErikaParticipantHi Amitramani,
Add this code in your style.css file:
.woocommerce .woocommerce-breadcrumb {
display: none;
}or
.woocommerce .woocommerce-breadcrumb {
display: none !important;
}This should fix your issue 🙂
ErikaParticipantWelcome 🙂
ErikaParticipantKmagar,
This is a strange issue indeed! I tried to solve it by inspecting the code but I could not. If you don't mind sharing your login info, I would love to get inside the site and see exactly what's going on. You can get in touch with me through my site listed below.
September 20, 2017 at 5:25 pm in reply to: Changing new pro theme content area back ground color and text color #211683ErikaParticipantHi Bwesole,
The reason it may seem hard to change all the white is because there are different areas of the page that need their color changed, instead of one collective area (if that makes sense). So, what I did was find all the different areas and then combine them into the code below.
You should now be able to get rid of the white background every where and use your own color, which you can pick here and find it's corresponding hex value: http://htmlcolorcodes.com/
.site-header .wrap, .genesis-nav-menu,
.entry, .sidebar .widget, .site-inner,
.home-top {
background: #eee;
}Let me know if this helps!

Unfortunately I'm not seeing the blank white area. Maybe you are viewing a cached version of the page?
ErikaParticipantHi Heather,
Find this code in your style.css file and change the bold part:
a {
color: #333;
text-decoration: none;
}You can find a color you like here and it's corresponding hex value: http://htmlcolorcodes.com/ Let me know if this helps!
ErikaParticipantHi Genedevlin,
Do you by chance mean sidebar instead of menu bar? Your actual menu is the green bar of links at the top of the website just beneath the logo, and the sidebar is the info displaying to the left of the other main and wider content on the homepage and other pages.
To make all pages display the sidebar on the right, go to Genesis > Theme Settings > Default Layout and choose the box showing the sidebar on the right. Next, go into Pages and edit the Home page. Scroll down to the layout options and choose the full width one.
Let me know if this helps!

September 20, 2017 at 9:17 am in reply to: Daily Dish Pro – Change Color of Titles in Sidebar #211659ErikaParticipantHi Ksawyer,
To modify the color of the black bars and the font as well, find this piece of code in your Style.css sheet:
.widget-title {
background-color: #000;
color: #fff;
font-family: Lato, sans-serif;
font-size: 12px;
font-size: 1.2rem;
font-weight: 700;
letter-spacing: 1px;
margin-bottom: 30px;
padding: 12px 15px;
text-transform: uppercase;
}The two parts I've put in bold will change the colors by altering the hex numbers. You can find a color you like and it's corresponding value here, if you like: http://htmlcolorcodes.com/
Let me know if this helps!
ErikaParticipantWelcome!
ErikaParticipantYep! You can place it at the very bottom 🙂 Or, if you don't want to go into the direct files, open Customizer and at the bottom of the options there is a widget called "Additional CSS" or something similar. You can insert it right in there.
ErikaParticipantHi Jennifer,
The top Soap title you see is an archive title, and the lower one is the actual page title. To start, place this code inside your CSS file to see if it helps:
.woocommerce .archive-title {
display: none;
}September 19, 2017 at 4:04 pm in reply to: Trying to make background color vanish or be totally opaque #211643ErikaParticipantActually, I see the bottom of the border now cuts through some of your text. You could also make this change to another piece of code:
.front-page-2 .widget_text {
border-left: 1px solid #fff;
border-right: 1px solid #fff;
position: relative;
padding: 5% 5% 7%;
}Now the border won't cut through at the bottom.
September 19, 2017 at 4:01 pm in reply to: Trying to make background color vanish or be totally opaque #211642ErikaParticipantHi Lenny,
Find this code in your CSS and make the following changes I have in bold:
.front-page-2, .front-page-2 .widget_text::before, .front-page-2 .widget_text::after {
background: none;
}It will make the white lines appear as a full border around your quote and get rid of the thin blue line. Let me know if this helps!
