Mark,
Thanks! This code should fix your issue:
.home-middle-1.widget-area .featured-content.featuredpage {
background-color: #fff;
padding: 0px !important;
float: left;
width: 31%;
}Simply find it in you Style.css sheet and replace the original with what I've given you above. You're also going to need the codes below for mobile responsiveness. Just copy and paste the whole thing in near the other responsive codes in the style.css sheet.
@media only screen and (max-width: 1023px) {.home-middle-1.widget-area .featured-content.featuredpage {
float: left;
width: 31% !important;
}
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {.home-middle-1.widget-area .featured-content.featuredpage {
float: left;
width: 100%;
}
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) {.home-middle-1.widget-area .featured-content.featuredpage {
float: left;
width: 100%;
}
}Let me know if this helps!
ErikaParticipantMark,
Set up the Home Middle 1 area so I can inspect the code. I can then see how it looks and how to fix it.
ErikaParticipantOh! My advice for that is to not set an actual price for your Woo products and instead write the price and add your own HTML button in either of the two description areas. I've done this before for products being sold by a third party. I hope it makes sense.
Some codes for an HTML button are:
<a class="button" href="amazonlink">Buy Now</a>
or
<a href="amazon link"><button>Buy Now</button></a>
ErikaParticipantEmillie,
Victor is right! If you need further help, please let me know!
ErikaParticipantHi Emillie,
I would suggest grouping the posts you want to feature in a custom category as well. Then, when you no longer want to feature those specific posts, you can delete the category or keep it to use at another time. Far easier than code modification.
ErikaParticipantThis is the code that is controlling the white gap:
p {
margin: 0 0 24px;
padding: 0;
}But getting rid of the 24px will cause there to be no spaces between your text on other pages. Are you hosting that equipment image in a text widget? That may be problem. Try using an image widget to insert it there.
ErikaParticipantWelcome Steve!
ErikaParticipantHi,
Copy and paste the following code into the appropriate spot in your style.css sheet. Let me know if it helps!
@media only screen and (max-width: 1023px) {.footer-widgets-2 {
width: 100%;
}
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {.footer-widgets-2 {
width: 100%;
}
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) {.footer-widgets-2 {
width: 100%;
}}
ErikaParticipantI turned it around in one week.
ErikaParticipantAfter inspecting the original theme, this piece of code is where you place the "first" logo, the one someone sees when they first visit the site:
body.with-page-header.header-image:not(.header-scroll) .site-title a {
background-image: url(images/logo_light.png) !important;
}This is the piece that controls the second or "scrolling" logo:
.site-title a {
background: url(https://showcase.designbybloom.co/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Logo_Dark.png) no-repeat !important;
}Just replace the URL links with your own. Let me know if this works.
ErikaParticipantThanks Victor!

To fix the widget titles losing their backgrounds, find this code and insert the bold piece:
.image-section .widget {
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.9);
background-color: #fff;
padding: 55px;
}To get rid of the borders on the sidebar, find this code and delete the bold piece:
.sidebar .widget {
background-color: #fff;
background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5);
border: 1px solid #000;
box-shadow: 0px 0px 0px 10px #fff;
margin: 10px 10px 70px;
padding: 40px;
}Let me know if this helps!
October 8, 2017 at 5:23 pm in reply to: How to prevent a sticky post from being duplicated in the posts section #212295ErikaParticipantHi Dianne,
You should use widgets to display the posts on your front page. That way, you can choose where and when to display sticky posts (or not to).
October 8, 2017 at 7:16 am in reply to: How to remove the box and make its container semi-transparent? Cafe Pro #212282ErikaParticipantHi Aby,
To remove all borders, insert this piece of code into your Style.css:
.image-section .widget-wrap,
.image-section .widget-title, .sidebar .widget-title,
.entry-header .entry-meta,
.content .entry,
.comment-respond, .entry-comments, .entry-pings,
.comment-respond h3, .entry-comments h3, .entry-pings h3 {
border: 0 !important;
}To control the opacity of the widget backgrounds, find the code below in your style.css sheet and add the piece in bold:
.image-section .widget {
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.9);
}Opacity for pages, posts and sidebar:
.content .entry {
background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5);
}.sidebar .widget {
background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5);
}To add a background image, you should be able to open the Customizer panel and find an option to do so. Let me know if this helps!
ErikaParticipantStefano,
I think so. Right click the featured widget you want to change and open the browser inspector (on Firefox it will be called Inspect Element). Scan the HTML code that comes up to see if you can find a specific ID number for that widget. If so, you can then target it in your CSS and change the size of the font.
ErikaParticipantI second that. Your site looks good!
ErikaParticipantJoyce,
1.) Replace the code I gave you with the one you found.
2.) You meant the gray area, right? It does reduce that.
3.) Good!
4.) Place this code somewhere in your CSS:
.more-from-category a {
display: table !important;
margin: 0 auto !important;
}5.) Thanks for clarifying. Find the code below in your CSS and make the change that is in bold:
.header-image .site-title > a {
-webkit-background-size: contain !important;
background-size: contain !important;
display: block;
height: 136px;
margin: 0px auto;
max-width: 320px;
text-indent: -9999px;
}ErikaParticipantStefano,
This is possible. Can you provide a link to the actual site?
ErikaParticipantHi Chris,
Can you provide a link to the actual site?
ErikaParticipantHi Joyce,
To reduce the height between Home middle and Home bottom, find the code below in your Style.css sheet and replace the existing code with the piece in bold:
.home-middle {
margin-bottom: 0px;
}Add this code beneath it:
.home-middle .entry {
margin-bottom: 0px;
}To reduce the thickness of the subscription bar, find the code below and make the change that's in bold:
.before-header {
background: #f7f9fc;
clear: both;
overflow: hidden;
padding: 0px;
text-align: center;
}To enlarge the size of the widget title:
.widgettitle {
font-size: 25px;
font-weight: 600;
letter-spacing: 2px;
margin: 27px 0;
text-align: center;
text-transform: uppercase;
}To center the "image title," which I take to be the post titles, is:
.entry-title {
font-family: "Karla","Helvetica Neue",sans-serif;
font-size: 27px;
text-align: center;
}To center the read more button:
.more-link {
display: table;
margin: 0 auto;
}As for the header and menu, I don't see any abnormal space, so I'm not sure how to help you right off the bat. If you need more help, please feel free to send me a message through my site below.
