ErikaParticipantThis post explains how to do it in detail: https://restored316designs.com/blog/2017/03/20/integrate-mailerlite-genesis-enews-extended-plugin/
🙂 Hope this helps.
ErikaParticipantThree things to accomplish this:
In line 682 of your style.css file, find this code and adjust the width amount:
.sidebar-primary { float: right; width: 35%; }
Then in line 1619, you'll need to adjust the widget padding:
.sidebar .widget { border-bottom: 1px solid #eee; padding: 50px 60px 60px; }
Finally, you'll need to adjust the content width and padding to fill in the extra space in line 650:
.content { float: right; padding: 80px 60px; width: 65%; }
Let me know if this helps!

I don't have anymore ideas from where I'm standing, but I could fix this if I can inspect the site myself. If you want to email me at [email protected], I can quote you a modest price for resolving this issue.

ErikaParticipantOh, that’s probably just a caching issue. I have a few Apple devices and Safari is notorious for not showing updates for usually a lengthy amount of time. I’d give it a day or so to see if it pops up.
March 18, 2018 at 8:32 am in reply to: Seeking advice for best Genesis theme for large-ish B2B website. #218057ErikaParticipantAndrea, I was wondering the same thing! If creating new posts/pages is the sole issue, that can be done right from the admin dashboard.
March 18, 2018 at 8:32 am in reply to: Seeking advice for best Genesis theme for large-ish B2B website. #218056ErikaParticipantYou need to hire a permanent developer or find a freelancer to handle the design as soon as possible. A page builder might seem faster, cheaper and easier, but it does equal a lot of problems in the long run as Victor pointed out. For professional organizations especially, it's always better to rely on a person who is skilled in this area than a program. If WordPress/Genesis ever decides to become permanently incompatible with a particular program you've already used to build hundreds of pages/posts... yikes. Now that's a mess.
ErikaParticipantHi Indigo Bird,
The quickest and simplest way may be to create a parent category that you can nest any amount of categories beneath to show in a particular area. Creating a parent category is the same concept as creating a drop down menu for a top menu item.

March 18, 2018 at 7:50 am in reply to: eleven40 theme: Front page shows 100 characters. How to change to excerpt? #218049ErikaParticipantTry setting a manual excerpt for one of the posts you'd like to see changed and see if that works. Go into the post editor and click the Screen Options button at the top of the page. Check Excerpts if it's not already, then put a custom excerpt into the box that shows beneath the text editor.
ErikaParticipantHi Picture Tom,
It looks like the front page is displaying your most recent posts. If that's the case, view the homepage of your website while logged in and open the Customizer. In the panel that opens up, select Theme Settings > Content Archives. Chances are, your featured images are toggled off, or you need to set one in the post editor (it's a little box on the right hand side of the screen).
March 17, 2018 at 2:30 pm in reply to: Seeking advice for best Genesis theme for large-ish B2B website. #218029ErikaParticipantI imagine those 60+ pages don’t have entirely unique layouts, so really you’d just need a few templates coded you can reuse over and over. Visual Composer will probably require you to freshly design every new page, which is working harder, not smarter, especially if you want the same layouts you’ve already made. Also, any theme can handle an unlimited amount of pages, so don’t worry about that.

Kreativ Pro, Studio Pro or Smart Passive Income will probably be good themes for what you are seeking. As for Visual Composer, I can't give an unbiased opinion about it, because I am all for coding website the old fashioned way 🙂
March 17, 2018 at 1:01 pm in reply to: eleven40 theme: Front page shows 100 characters. How to change to excerpt? #218026ErikaParticipantHi Chris,
When viewing the homepage of your site logged in, click "Customize" in the black admin bar up top and in the panel that opens up, select Theme Settings, then Content Archives. Choose the show Excerpts option.
Once that is done, add the following code at the bottom of your Functions.php file:
// Add Read More Link to Excerpts add_filter( 'the_excerpt', 'link_excerpt_more' ); function link_excerpt_more( $output ) { $more = sprintf( ' <a href="%s" class="more-link" rel="bookmark">' . __( 'Read More' ) . '</a>', esc_url( get_permalink() ) ); return $output . $more; }

March 17, 2018 at 12:52 pm in reply to: Bullet point starting too deep in the page in "media" view #218025ErikaParticipantHi Andras,
I viewed the site with several mobile outputs and the ul looks good. Hardly appears indented. But this is how you alter it:
ul li { padding: 5px 0px; margin: 0px 0px; }
Just tweak the code and place it inside the appropriate mobile responsive sections in the style.css sheet.
ErikaParticipantWhat you can do is create that category, put all related posts into it, then view that category page while logged in and click the "Customize" option in the black admin bar. In the panel that opens up, click the Theme Settings option and then Content Archives. There, you can customize the look of your posts!
ErikaParticipantFrom your admin dash, Genesis > Theme Settings.

When logged into your site, go to one of the category pages and click the "Customize" option in the black admin bar up top. Then in the panel that opens up, go into Theme Settings and click on Content Archives. There, you can control how the posts look 🙂
