Hi Susan,
I too am having this issue. The mobile menu isn't showing and I've deactivated all plugins and still no luck. Any other suggestions?
Thanks, E.J.

Will try it again this weekend but may end up using a plugin for a CPT and call it a day.
This seems like a popular topic and have yet to find an actual StudioPress instructional on it. So if you're paying to attention to the forum SP team, please don't leave us hanging....or feeling like there's a bait/switch thing going on here with this forum.
I am not too keen on the fact that certain members aren't providing actual input but instead trying to get you to become a member of their website. It's kind of tacky to post a response with ulterior motives. Just saying.

Cubicle10cubicle10MemberI also thought WooComm was compatible with SP child themes. What are our options for reliable eComm plugins/solutions if using SP?

Cubicle10cubicle10MemberHi Carolacat, have you gotten any further with adding a portfolio to your child theme? I am looking to do the same; although would rather not have to use a plugin.

Appreciate the info. What do you mean by "start from scratch using pieces from them as they fit in to my own solution"?
Would it be best to use the theme with the homepage design I prefer and then build up the internal pages/theme features from other themes?
Thanks, E.J.

So is this Frankenstein"ing" of theme hompeages the same process as creating a new page template within a theme?
Specific detail? As in requiring advanced coding skills?
Will I need to create separate CSS files to correspond to the homepages of the other themes or simply add to the Education Pro CSS file? << If so, where would I add it?
How about the corresponding code from functions.php? Should I do anything here.
Much appreciation, E.J.

The issue isn't with the $10; it is having a plugin that's compatible and kept up to date with WP versions. Reliability.
So the separate DB is a benefit?
What benefits of genesis would you anticipate me giving up if using this plugin?

I don't quite understand the process described here about creating wp templates for custom post types.
Could someone explain what this means AND point me in the right direction on how to do this?
Thank you.
