Thanks. Do you know why the gaps appear between words at the font weight 400? Is there any way to fix that? I don't mind switching the font weight so long as those gaps don't appear.

    Hi Brad,

Thanks for sharing the code. I used it to remove the date from my posts, but it still shows up in the excerpts on the main blog page. Any idea how I can remove it from there?

Thanks, that worked! Now one last thing... is there a way to remove the primary sidebar from showing on the front page? I used the widget logic plugin so that the sidebar widgets wouldn't show up there, but now it's showing the default "This is the Primary Sidebar Widget Area" widget. Is there a line of code that I can use to remove the sidebar widgets from the home.php file?

Can you tell me what I need to do to remove the loop? I'm not sure which snippet to use or where it should go. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the response. Yes, the featured pages widget works fine when the reading settings are showing the latest posts. However, I don't want the latest posts on the home page, and when I change the reading settings to display a static home page, I lose the featured pages even though the Featured Page widgets are in the home page widget areas. Do you know if it's possible to show the featured pages using a static home page?
