In your functions.php file. Use a code editor and ftp or if you miss a single anything in code, you could mess up your site and not be able to fix it unless you have ftp access in the first place.
carasmoParticipantThat is the bottom of the last section peeking through and doesn't always happen. If you write CSS you can change the very bottom of a dark section, bottom border to the color of the next section background to help disguise this. If you can write jQuery you can create an animated scroll, get the height of the sticky, adjust the offset and do it that way, but that is very complicated for a non-coder.
June 22, 2017 at 8:00 am in reply to: Woocommerce 3.0 and Gallery Space below Main product image #208070carasmoParticipantAnother alternative is to find something like this in your functions.php file, the function name will be different.
function yourtheme_setup() { add_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-zoom' ); add_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-lightbox' ); add_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-slider' ); }
Change ONLY the single line (not the function name) for
wc-product-gallery-slider
to this which is adding a single line php comment before it. I believe that now your single product gallery will behave like the good old days, before the slider.function yourtheme_setup() { add_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-zoom' ); add_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-lightbox' ); // add_theme_support( 'wc-product-gallery-slider' ); }
Don't change the function name. Just add a couple forward slashes before the theme support line for the slider.
June 22, 2017 at 7:48 am in reply to: Woocommerce 3.0 and Gallery Space below Main product image #208068carasmoParticipantThe args for Flexslider that come with WooCommerce is
smoothHeight: false
. All your images are not the same size in this product:Passiflora Edulis – Frederick – Edible Purple Passion Fruit Plant
So it calculates height of the tallest image and leaves a gap. It's crappy, I know.
When you turn
smoothHeight
to true using the php filterwoocommerce_single_product_carousel_options
this issue may resolve for most users (some browsers get 0px height). Flexslider since version 2 has had issues as they were trying to cater to all situations.See example here:
http://selmantunc.com/post/159453196812/woocomemrce-3-flex-slider-filter
Anyway, as Victor stated, this is a WooCommerce (really Flexslider) issue.

I am going to take a stab at, the first thing I would check that the CHMOD of this file is 644.

carasmoParticipantNot really sure what you mean. It looks good to me. I have a deadline so I can't follow up. I suggest you try your best with CSS margins and then make a new post.
This is a volunteer forum.
carasmoParticipantThis is because the math is off in your style.css and the style for the
.site-title a
needs adjustment. If you don't use the sizes set up by the theme, you have to write custom CSS.I use percentages.
Go to Customizer and choose the panel "Additional CSS" at or near the bottom.
Paste in this CSS and adjust as needed to make it 100%
/* Site Header Custom CSS */ @media (min-width: 1024px) { .title-area { width: 40%; } .header-image .site-title a { background-size: contain; } .site-header .widget-area { width: 60%; } } /* end media query */
carasmoParticipantThe logo looks big when I view it. Clear your cache after you make changes. See the other post.
June 16, 2017 at 1:50 pm in reply to: How to change background widget color on Streamline Pro? #207842carasmoParticipantAll the text shadows look bad, so I adjusted the CSS to apply to the entire widget.
June 16, 2017 at 1:48 pm in reply to: How to change background widget color on Streamline Pro? #207840carasmoParticipantIt's on your site when I view it. Clear your cache: hold down the shift key and hit refresh (half circle with arrow). Also, the widget titles will need to be adjusted too.
.sidebar .widget:nth-child(odd) { color: #fff; text-shadow: 1px 1px #333; }
June 16, 2017 at 12:20 pm in reply to: How to change background widget color on Streamline Pro? #207832carasmoParticipantAdd to the Additional CSS in customizer or you theme style.css in the appropriate location. Every other widget will have a background color #ddd. The even widget is the default color you see now.
.sidebar .widget:nth-child(odd) { background: #ddd; }
June 13, 2017 at 6:22 am in reply to: Genesis connect for woocommerce causing category page not to display #207689carasmoParticipantGenesis Connect is stable. Turn on debug. https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress
carasmoParticipantGenesis is ultimately a WordPress solution. Read the https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress and specifically pay attention to serialized data (covered there). The missing images is not a problem, it's normal because these were stored as meta data for that post. I use the Better Search and Replace plugin, works fast.
carasmoParticipantClick Customizer when you are logged in. Choose the "Additional CSS" panel. Paste in the following CSS and save.
@media (min-width: 1030px) { .menu-secondary aside.widget-area { width: 30%; text-align: right; } .menu-secondary .widget_search, .menu-secondary .simple-social-icons { display: inline-block; width: auto; vertical-align: middle; } }
carasmoParticipantcarasmoParticipantcarasmoParticipantGenesis has two check boxes on the user page whether or not to show the author box on single posts and/or archives.
wpsabox_author_box
is not part of Genesis.
carasmoParticipantWordPress has a filter for the author link in comments. Does not work on imported comments. Genesis filters don't duplicate.
/** * * Removes Comment Author Link * */ function prefix_remove_comment_author_link( $return, $author, $comment_ID ) { return $author; } add_filter( 'get_comment_author_link', 'prefix_remove_comment_author_link', 10, 3 );
carasmoParticipantTry removing this
.widget { word-wrap: break-word; }
I would use greater CSS specificity here for just sidebar and footer widgets. I would test first by removing the CSS first, clear all cache and see if the issue goes away. The use .sidebar .widget, .footer-widgets .widget if you want break-word.
carasmoParticipantOops, that is wrong. is_single is just posts and cpts but not pages.
function is_not_this_page() { return ( ( //pages I don't want is_page( array( '414', '530', '1107', '1134', '369' // last has no comma ) ) || // or //posts and cpts I don't want is_single( array( '123', '245', '789' // last has no comma ) ) ) ) ? true : false ; }
