ParticipantA belated thank you for that php function.
I finally got around to adding the above function to the functions.php file. It actually does a little bit too much. I see that "genesis_post_meta" includes not just the post categories but its tags, too.
Is there some way to leave the tags in place and move ONLY the categories?
This time I can give a URL. Datadoodle.com, and the theme is Eleven40 Pro.

ParticipantThanks for your reply. I thought the idea was so generic that it didn't need that. The site is at intelopolis.com, and the theme name is eleven40. fyi, The site is visible but, but it's not yet operating as a public site.

ParticipantI've tried to figure this out, but I'm still too much of a newbie. I just don't see how to use the entry header hook to put the category tag over the entry header.
braddalton or anyone else, can you explain?
Thanks

ParticipantThank you, braddalton. I'm just getting back to this now.

ParticipantThank you, braddalto,
I need some clarification. In the entry-footer section, I see how to remove the code for the category field but not how to place it above the title.
In the header-entry section, I see the code to modify the post date, post author, etc. That gets me into the header-entry area.
My remaining question is how to put the category field above the post title. I could probably figure that out if I saw the code for the title field. Can you direct me to that?
Thanks

ParticipantHi Terry,
Very good! Thanks for that suggestion.
Now, if there were some way to combine that with a tag. X category AND Z tag. But just the category is great.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Victor,
Thanks for your reply, and I apologize: "Category = 281" was an error only in the way I entered it in the question. The value that actually appears is correct, "cat=281".
