    Hello,
I'm looking for a way to customize titles. I want to put the category just above the headline. For example, the category "fruit" would go just above the headline "Bananas and berries."

I'm sure that's easily done with a customized function, but I need instructions. (I can modify PHP hooks and filters.) Another option would be a plugin, but I haven't found one that does this.

Can someone suggest something? Or give instructions for a hook or filter?

    Thanks

Look under the Entry Footer section https://my.studiopress.com/documentation/snippets/

    Thank you, braddalto,
    I need some clarification.

In the entry-footer section, I see how to remove the code for the category field but not how to place it above the title.

In the header-entry section, I see the code to modify the post date, post author, etc. That gets me into the header-entry area.

My remaining question is how to put the category field above the post title. I could probably figure that out if I saw the code for the title field. Can you direct me to that?

    Thanks

Try the genesis entry header hook with a 3rd parameter of 5

Thank you, braddalton. I'm just getting back to this now.

I've tried to figure this out, but I'm still too much of a newbie. I just don't see how to use the entry header hook to put the category tag over the entry header.

braddalton or anyone else, can you explain?

    Thanks
