    Update:
    I am now using a custom 'Blog Page Template' for the Blog Page.

    My goal is to make the 'Blog' page look exactly like the single post page on the site... displaying one post and its comments.

    I'd like to make this page: http://elizabethmcgann.com/blog

    Look exactly like this page: http://elizabethmcgann.com/find-out-your-energy-forecast-for-december-do-this-now/

    Any guidance is appreciated!

    You're right carasmo. That simple z-index 1000 did work.

    As for the logo overlay, that was next on my list. I'll tackle that now. Thank you for the direction there!

    I had found a way to do it using css, but this is much cleaner. I'm going to try implementing it now.

    Yes, That's exactly what I need to do... just a bit lost on how to go about it. Any help or direction you could point me in would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm definitely in the beginning stages of learning genesis hooks and filters.
