I used Yoast SEO to achieve what I wanted

Search Appearance -> Taxanomies ->Category URLs -> Remove the categories prefix

I am able to drop category in a post URL
But in the category URL itself I wasn't able to figure it out in Permalinks section

Under Optional, I do see a category base field. But not sure how to drop things to make the url look like http://immigrationworld.com/france instead of /category/france (this is category URL)

No, this doesn't work. It has to be done thru Widgets. One cannot now modify 1000s of existing pages and enter the code manually. And if we want to change the code we cannot go and change on each page.

It is actually working for me for "new posts" added after installation of the plugin
For old posts it doesn't fix

I installed "restore image title" plugin on my personal blog. Will not add any other plugin.

Do you get the Title tag? The Alt tag can be seen in the HTML source.

Please guide on what should be done to get Title tag to work.

I used restore image title, it doesn't work

I had to use SEO Friendly Images plugin to fix it. But I am not happy, it is using the post title as ALT and title tag

I want it to use whatever I entered when I uploaded an image
