Thanks for the shout out szoumbaris!
Andrea- we'll let you know if we find kinks in the always awesome code that comes out of the box. So far I haven't found any!

asdwebMemberSometimes we overlook something in the instructions to set up themes to get it working like the demos. In this case, she is offering you a generic means to rectify the problem by replacing linkclass with a specific class i.e. link-horizonal (if you wanted to call it that) to make something DO something specific via css.
In your case, it was just extraneous code that was making your custom menu not do what you wanted. And I'm glad we got it sorted out.

asdwebMemberWhen you select "left" the images will align to the left and stack on top of each other.
Try changing image property of the second image to "alignright" and see if that works better for you.

asdwebMember"add the styles" = modify the css to adjust/tweak the way something looks in the style.css document.

asdwebMemberIf you remove this, the links become horizontal.
.genesis-nav-menu {
clear: both;
overflow: hidden;
}

asdwebMemberVery odd. Where did this come from?
This is minifying your stylesheet. Somehow you are hooked up with googleusercontent.com.
At this point, I don't know what to suggest without seeing the WP backend.
The other option is to put the four images on the home page, but NOT within a table. Why do you have it in a table? But the bottom line is you need to be able to adjust your style.css for this or anything you want to change in the future.

asdwebMemberThe (style.css) is the correct one.
If you have a pagespeed / CSS compression plugin installed, deactivate it to see if it works.

asdwebMemberDid you copy and paste what I suggested?
If yes, what file and where?
What files are listed in Appearance --> Editor?I see and tweaked this one: http://1-ps.googleusercontent.com/h/www.crestico.com/wp-content/themes/delicious/A.style.css,qver=1.9.1.pagespeed.cf.4zpH_dtYE1.css

asdwebMemberasdwebMemberYes.
To specify it just for that area only, try:
#text-39 div.textwidget div {
margin-top: -20px;
margin-right: 30px;
margin-left: -10px;
}
Amy Susan Design.com @AmySusanDesign
asdwebMemberThey are inside a table.
add this to your style.css
table {
margin-top: -20px;
margin-right: 30px;
margin-left: -10px;
}and play around with the numbers (above) to get the spacing you want.

March 11, 2013 at 11:18 am in reply to: Need to remove white space below Menu Education Theme Blog Page #25478asdwebMemberchange it so it looks like this:
#home-featured .featured .inner {
display: none;
}
Amy Susan Design.com @AmySusanDesign
asdwebMemberIt depends on where you want it. If it is on the home page, then in the home.php
When I've used it, I just added the shortcode to insert the slideshow where I wanted it.
Amy Susan Design.com @AmySusanDesign
asdwebMemberProbably via php, but it looks like you did what you set out to do successfully via CSS.

asdwebMemberasdwebMemberThis isn't a Genesis specific question.
Have you tried asking around in Photoshop forums for help? There are a lot of tutorials for Photoshop as well.
Or if you wanted to add a drop shadow using CSS you could by adding a box-shadow property to your image. Do a web search for CSS3 shadows.
Good luck.

asdwebMemberasdwebMemberIt looks like you resolved this?
