If you updated my code to say /work - then this should work - https://acrefa.cat/work/ but it does not work. That is the slug my code is changing.
In my code - line 13 is the only place you need to change something. Where it says
your-new-name
you need to change that towork
. That's it.

AnitaKeymasterI just added my code to my demo here which is not Business Pro. If you click the one portfolio item - look in the address bar, the gallery remains in the address bar.
Are you saying that your URL switches from /work back to /portfolio when you click the URL?
I'm sorry... if you don't give us an actual working website and point us where things are not working, you are asking us to fumble around in the dark.

AnitaKeymasterThat can happen a lot when you use Jetpack and their Photon add on. Photon and the feature to lazy load images are really breaking a lot of Genesis sites. I provide theme support through my business and for a third-party theme designer and we get this a lot. Try deactivating that add on for a while to see if it makes a difference.

AnitaKeymasterYou are using a third party theme by SEO Themes. They provide support for their themes here - https://seothemes.com/support/. Submit a ticket to him and he should be able to assist you.

AnitaKeymasterYou can try that or just create a new breakpoint for 1023px just for the area you modified.

AnitaKeymasterThat's what I was saying, the widget setting control that so if you tried that already and it's not working, you may need to use another plugin or add that content manually.

AnitaKeymasterWhen you change content widths as you did with the 80% on desktop, this mean you need to make the adjustment in the media queries and/or add a new media query to accommodate your change in desktop. Your new breakpoint is 1023px.

AnitaKeymasterIf you are using the old version of Magazine Pro which uses widgets instead of blocks, you can use - https://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-widget-column-classes/ and set up two widgets at one-half.

AnitaKeymasterIf you have something in the portfolio called "typography" you just need to change the page name of the page itself. Open up that page and rename the slug that would be equal to typography.
We really need to see your site to visually help you. The StudioPress site may not be a good example of what you are referring to.

AnitaKeymasterAdd this:
.site-description { display: none; }
That's going to hide it on the front, but still keep it in the source code. It's the tagline from your Settings page.

April 29, 2020 at 12:05 pm in reply to: Business Pro – Rename slug "portfolio" [Page + post] #498290AnitaKeymasterIn your example, it changes the portfolio to work. Which is what it's supposed to do because that's the portfolio "slug".
So with the provided code, it changed the second one. For instance: studiopress.com/work/typhography, but doesn't change the first one. So the functionality is broken.

There's the Business Pro demo. My tutorial will change that to:
https://demo.bizbudding.com/business-pro/work/
That's how that should work, so what isn't it doing on your website?

April 29, 2020 at 10:30 am in reply to: Business Pro – Rename slug "portfolio" [Page + post] #498286AnitaKeymasterI am not understanding what you need then. You want to change the slug from /portfolio to /something-else, correct? If not can you present a link to what you are referring to?

AnitaKeymasterIf you're not creating a theme but want to enhance a project, I use Lightweight Sidebar Manager - https://wordpress.org/plugins/sidebar-manager/. It will even create sidebars for the footer area. I really like it.

AnitaKeymasterAdd this to the Additional CSS box:
.site-header.dark .genesis-nav-menu a { color: #fff; }
See if that works for you.

AnitaKeymasterThat's how it works, it will not push it down. If you want it to display below the text completely, add this to the Additional CSS box.
.front-page-3 .more-link { display: block; }
See how that works for you.

AnitaKeymasterHave multiple featured images has never been in any StudioPress theme and I've never seen it coded in third party theme. So your work around may be your best option unless a developer is willing to fully customize your theme to make that work.

AnitaKeymasterCan you please elaborate on the issue? Provide a link to your website? I don't see anything wrong with Agent Focus - demo here - https://demo.winningagent.com/agent-focused/.
