You should be able to add a new widget area to place the slider in by following these instructions from Brian Gardener - http://www.briangardner.com/home-widget-area-eleven40/.
@kpgdimension you should post a separate forum question regarding your issue.

December 31, 2012 at 2:27 am in reply to: How to add Widget Area into Post and Make Primary sidebar wider #8543AnitaKeymaster@tjd I use Notepad++ (http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download/v6.2.3.html). You open up Notepad++, then copy the CSS from your site and paste it in there and then you can see all the lines of code. At least this is now I do it. Then once I locate the line, I can either make the changes right in the sites CSS or if I make a lot of changes - I do it in Notepad++ and copy/paste back to the site.

AnitaKeymasterI am not following you. The URL is already there. Do you mean you want the visitor to go somewhere else upon clicking the image in the slider?

AnitaKeymasterHow many pages do you need to redirect?

AnitaKeymaster@tjd if you see a red message at the top that says your files may be accessible, that means you need to do the following steps.
1. Go to your FTP file manager
2. Go to your file folder where you WP is set up
3. Open your Plugins folder > then W3TotalCache folder > look for the htaccess.txt file
4. Move that file to the new folder that was created at level > wp-content/backup-db
5. Once the file is moved - RENAME that file .htaccess - and remove the extention of .txt.
6. When done - it should only look like > .htaccessGo back to the Dashboard to see if the red warning line is gone. If not, review the steps again. If they are gone, then proceed to setting up the plugin the way you would like it to work.

December 30, 2012 at 1:40 pm in reply to: Outreach Theme – After WP Update Visual Tab NOT Displaying #8432AnitaKeymasterJust a side note for Brian, I am using Outreach on a client site and have fully upgraded and I don't have this problem.

AnitaKeymasterBrian Gardner has instructions on how to do this and it works - http://www.briangardner.com/google-profile-search-results/.

AnitaKeymasterPlease post a link to your site so we can take a look. Thanks.

AnitaKeymasterAround Line 637, look for this and add this: margin-bottom: 20px;
.entry-content {
overflow: hidden;
}So it would look like this:
.entry-content {
margin-bottom: 20px;
overflow: hidden;
}

December 30, 2012 at 1:03 pm in reply to: Outreach Theme – After WP Update Visual Tab NOT Displaying #8422AnitaKeymasterAndrea, we went through that last night and still didn't work for a member on here. Is there anyway to post a Sticky at the top of the forums for this so people will know? It might eliminate multiple forum entries for the same subject matter. Just a thought.

December 30, 2012 at 12:55 pm in reply to: Outreach Theme – After WP Update Visual Tab NOT Displaying #8419AnitaKeymasterBrian, I used Join.me with another forum member last night and we did everything imaginable to get the tabs back and it just wouldn't work. I've seen some talk that it's a WP issue and that there may be a fix shortly for it. I cannot say for sure, but just recommend that you document what you've already done and put in a support ticket anyway.

AnitaKeymasterHave you tried creating any specialty reports in Google Analytics or are you using the default reports?

AnitaKeymasterTo change it - which is located at the bottom of your posts, around Line 835 of the CSS look for this:
.post-meta {
border-top: 1px dotted #DDDDDD;
padding: 10px 0 0;
}Change the padding from 10px to 20 or 30 - to whatever number you are comfortable with.

AnitaKeymasterHaving problems using the links on here but try this. I found it along time ago but couldn't figure out how to implement it with Genesis - wplift [dot] com / how-add-text-featured-images-different-scenarios.
I had to add spaces before and after the / so the URL would show up.

AnitaKeymasterYou can drag a Featured Page or Post over to that widget area. Set the image to FULL WIDTH and not have any content at all. But there wouldn't be an overlay of the title on it. I went looking for something of this nature and found this instruction, but I got confused trying to implement it. Maybe you can use this - http://wplift.com/how-add-text-featured-images-different-scenarios.
