Hi Ted, take a look at this write up from Brian Gardner on Media Queries - this might help you - http://www.briangardner.com/media-queries/.

AnitaKeymasterYou need to use an FTP product like Filezilla or go to your hosting account and use the file uploader and upload the file that way. If you are not familiar with this, send me an email through my website and I can assist you off of the forum.

AnitaKeymasterDid you just copy and paste the original or did you upload the original file via FTP?

AnitaKeymasterWere you editing the Functions.php file when you got the error?

AnitaKeymasterYou can add this and change the number to whatever you are comfortable with. Hard to tell because you've changed the front of the site.
padding-top: 25px;

AnitaKeymasterI think you would need to make the #Wrap transparent and then put a background color to each of the widget areas.

AnitaKeymasterDid you set a static page for your home page? Do you have an About page as your home page?

AnitaKeymasterChange the font size back to the original size so you footer widgets go back to normal. Then add this to the Welcome Widget area:
#text-6 h4{ font-size: 25px; }
You can add a color attribute to that also. The Text-6 means that's Text Box #6. You have 5 other text boxes and the settings in 6 will not effect the other 5.

AnitaKeymasterI see you are using the Vintage Child Theme which is a Marketplace theme by Restored316designs.com. It appears the original theme doesn't have the tags either. Susan, one of the volunteer Community Forum moderators provides support for Restored316 Designs. Please submit a ticket here - http://www.restored316designs.com/support/ and she can assist you further with your issue.

AnitaKeymasterOk, you found a bug! I'll report it.

AnitaKeymasterYou went back and edited/modified your comment. You didn't add a reason for the modification. So I just added this line to clarify this so you can see it.

AnitaKeymasterInstead of doing that - use Brian's instructions for adding the Welcome Text Widget to the Outreach theme - http://www.briangardner.com/welcome-text-widget/.

AnitaKeymasterIn your Style.css, you can make the Slider Widget container the full width. Remove the Search Widget contain all together in CSS. You can also remove/unregister the Search Widget so it doesn't appear in the Widget area of the Dashboard.

AnitaKeymasterYou will need to select the Sidebar you want per blog as you write it. For example - if you were to write a blog and check two categories - how would it know what sidebar to attach to that blog? It wouldn't know that.
So, will any of your blogs be designated to more than one category?

AnitaKeymasterWhat I gave you does that? Did you apply the code I gave you? It makes the border round and the image round. Again, if I cannot see YOUR WEBSITE to see WHAT YOU HAVE.... it's pretty hard to assist you. But what I gave you works - the container and the image are both round. If you want the padding to be wider - change the 4px to a larger number.

AnitaKeymasterThere isn't one particular plugin that does everything.
For Colored boxes - http://www.briangardner.com/colored-content-boxes/
For Colored buttons - http://www.briangardner.com/genesis-color-buttons/
For Column Classes - http://my.studiopress.com/tutorials/content-column-classes/

AnitaKeymasterYou have that element set as H3 not H2.

April 22, 2013 at 10:21 am in reply to: Genesis Tabs Widget as featured post slider for one category? #36900AnitaKeymasterThe Genesis Tabs Widget was not made to perform that way. You will need to look for something else that will work the way you want it. Check the WordPress plugin repository.
