He would lose the widgets on his home page if he did that. The only thing I would suggest for SEO for the home page - is look in the Genesis > SEO and add additional SEO in there that would cover and include the default home page.

AnitaKeymasterThis reply has been marked as private.AnitaKeymasterThe developer of that theme is agentevolution.com and here is a link - http://themes.agentevolution.com/. You might want to invest in one of their Genesis child themes and then customize it from there since they already have it coded the way you want. Or you can hire a coder to do it for you.

AnitaKeymasterAny theme can be used for that. What I would recommend is that if you see other review website out there that you like, then go to the themes and select a theme similar to those and then customize that one.

AnitaKeymasterPlease share a link to your site, it's hard to work in the blind with so many questions - especially since you keep saying "the site same with" all these things already there for you.

AnitaKeymasterThanks for telling me about the "typo"! Always appreciate another set of eyes. Send me a note over there and let's keep in touch. We can exchange emails and Skype IDs.

AnitaKeymasterEverything is a process. You cannot take your style.css from one and just copy it over to the other as there may have been changes. You should open both files to see if there are difference. You will retain your content in the widget that you created. But with any upgrade you should always back up your files (database, theme, theme setting, etc.) before upgrading/

AnitaKeymasterYou may want to post this over on his page as others have done. His code is fairly new and he may respond faster and with a better solution.

April 27, 2013 at 1:30 pm in reply to: Help – custom code that fixes the alignment issue for responsive slider #38109AnitaKeymasterGo to the slider settings under Genesis > Slider Settings. Scroll down and there is a box labeled "Hide Title & Content on Mobile Devices" - that box is probably checked. Uncheck it and save.

AnitaKeymasterTry setting the 540px as a percentage. Full width is 100%. Using a percentage may help you.

AnitaKeymasterThe slider settings has it's own CSS which is located in the plugin. You can grab the slider CSS from the plugin, add to your theme style.css and customize it from there. I cannot answer the question about the opacity.

AnitaKeymasterOkay, then you need to put the category id number the Exclude section of Genesis > Theme Settings.

AnitaKeymasterAre you trying to exclude a category from the Blog or the Slider? To exclude from the slider, you need to use the Exclude function in the slider settings.

AnitaKeymasterYou've modified you CSS so that it looks like this:
.full-width-content #content { border: medium none; margin: 0 300px; padding: 25px 0; width: 540px; }
You should remove the marging and replace the 540px with 100%.
Then it will be responsive.

AnitaKeymasterYou need to re-size the default header size to your logo size. Go into functions.php, look for Custom Header and you will see sizes. Change the size to your logo and save. Then go to Appearance > Header and insert your your logo. Now keep in mind you may have to adjust your Header spacing in #Header of your CSS.

AnitaKeymasterYou're welcome

AnitaKeymasterFor Google Adsense you do not need to check either one of the boxes. Only if you receive some PHP coding would you be required to check the box to execute PHP.
