Hi @brendagaelsmith,
You can look at Food version of the new Mia theme by 17th Avenue Designs. Check out the templates. It's a really nice theme.
**Update: Most of the 17th Avenue Design themes have the category archive you are looking for out the box.**

AnitaKeymasterHi Rachel, you could start with something like this and then tweak it once you put the real content into the widget:
.front-page-1 .widget { float: left; margin-top: 10%; width: 400px; }
If I were doing it, I'd actually do the text as an overlay widget which would give you a little more control over the text and size.
But that should get you started.

AnitaKeymasterJust create a new page, set the layout to content-sidebar, name it Home. Install Atomic Blocks and build out your page. Go to Settings > Reading and set your new Home as the static home page and your blog page for posts page.

AnitaKeymasterHi @imstrategy, setting up the fields to be "required" won't have an affect in eNews Extended. You would need to also add some hidden fields in the plugin. Those instructions on how to do that would be in your subscription program instructions.
The best bet would be for you to use the widget embed that comes with your program and then duplicate the CSS styling of the eNews Extended widget. I have a tutorial here showing how to do that with MailChimp.

AnitaKeymasterYou're using Agency Pro which has the background image using backstretch. It's going to be very difficult for you to make that adjustment. You may need to do some creative CSS to implement one background image on devices in portrait mode and one background image for devices that are landscape. As it is now, if the device is flipped landscape then you get the couple on the side which looks fine.

August 3, 2019 at 4:57 pm in reply to: Author Pro – Featured Page – First Page 1 Widget – How to maintain formatting? #492785AnitaKeymasterHi @weblore, if you have the widget set at "Excerpt" or have it set to Content with a character limit, it will do that. Set the widget to "Content" and no limit. This way if that's the extent of the content on the page, you will not need the "Read More" button and the formatting should stay in tact.

AnitaKeymasterFoodie Pro is third-party theme developed by Feast Design Co. They have their own support area here. You probably need to check the existing code in functions.php or another file to see if there is existing function to set that. You may need to place your code higher up the page (at a higher priority) for the code to work. If you are unable to get that resolved, reach out to Feast.

August 3, 2019 at 10:41 am in reply to: Is the Portfolio Pro plugin capable of using Gutenberg? #492780AnitaKeymasterThis question is better suited to be asked on the plugin support page. The developers do not come to the community forum. There was an update to the plugin a week ago, but I don't know if the update addresses your question.

August 3, 2019 at 10:13 am in reply to: Need your recommendation for a new Genesis-based theme #492777AnitaKeymasterI would think then either switch to a theme that doesn't require full width, or... custom code in a second image that would be visible only on mobile devices at a media query that best suits those devices, i.e., if on this size device... use this image, if on this size device... use the alternate image.

August 3, 2019 at 7:38 am in reply to: Need your recommendation for a new Genesis-based theme #492774AnitaKeymaster@seeleyjames I always instruct my clients to look at their Google Analytics (maybe for a year and also the last 6 months) to see where their site visitors are coming from and start to build your website in the best way possible for them. So if you see in your reports that visitors are coming from mostly "desktop" optimize the site in the best way for "desktop viewing". If you see that your visitors are coming mostly from "mobile devices", then optimize the site for them.
For "Try the book free" - is that some sort of download that goes into a Reader, such as Kindle or book readers? Or is it a PDF file of the book? How would the person downloading it actually open the file to read it?

AnitaKeymaster@99debra99 I couldn't check your site because you have not provide a link to it. Please make sure you post a link to your site when asking for help. Also include your theme name.

AnitaKeymasterI've looked at both on my Android.
I see the "jump" to the top of the footer on exepose[dot]com. Could the owner of the website disable the sticky sidebar, clear cache and then we can take another look? On your website, when I use the developer tools, there is warning that is not present in News Pro.
This site appears to use a scroll-linked positioning effect. This may not work well with asynchronous panning; see https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Mozilla/Performance/ScrollLinkedEffects for further details and to join the discussion on related tools and features!
You may want to look into that further.
I checked stocktrades.ca on my phone also but I do not have the "jump" when scrolling. I've tried the home page and several posts and do not get that jump.
I've looked at News Pro demo and I do not get the jump. I also have News Pro on another website and looked there and there is no "jump".
One other place to look if you are absolutely sure it's not a plugin - is to check your scripts to 1) ad programs and 2) scripts you may have added the to either the Header or Footer Scripts under Genesis > Theme Settings. Scripts in those boxes can also cause this behavior.
Exepose is highly customized so you should probably look at your code, make sure things you've added to the functions or other files are loaded in the correct "order", i.e., they are loading in the right priority. Sometimes code you place at the bottom of the functions file, needs to be loaded up higher to prevent issues.
But from what I see, the issues are not theme-related, but related to either a plugin or manually added scripts, or some sort of error when loading custom code.

AnitaKeymasterHi Bill, if you just need something similar to get you started, look at Mai Pro. It's flexible enough to get you started with a look similar to that or maybe look at how AgentPress is laid out. You could customize either one of those. I used Mai Pro on a husband/wife psychology services website.

AnitaKeymasterYou might receive a more efficient answer by heading over to the Elementor Facebook group since it's an Elementor-related questions and not Genesis.

AnitaKeymasterYou also need to create your media queries for the mobile devices. It looks like you only have desktop. The media queries are already set to be responsive for the Sample, so you shouldn't have a problem with those unless you wiped out all of the CSS and started over.

AnitaKeymasterIt looks like you may have resolved this on your own. But yes, logos have always been a challenge. But, the good news is...there is going to be a new way of doing the logos in Genesis 3.1 coming in the release around the 24th.
