Are you using a plugin called 'MyStickyMenu' ?
You have an error showing in dev tools console -
Uncaught Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: div[class^="front-page-"] a[href*=#]:not([href=#]) myStickymenu: Entered Sticky Class does not exist, change it in Dashboard / Settings / myStickymenu / Sticky Class
It's saying you haven't entered a valid class for the sticky ? check that
andytcParticipantYou can add back as many widget areas as you want on any theme regardless of blocks, you can add them and target the home page or with multiple conditions.

.sidebar-primary .featuredpost article { width: 48%; float: left; }
andytcParticipantInstall and activate - SEO Slider Plugin - https://wordpress.org/plugins/seo-slider/
Create your slider in the slider options , give it a name , add your images > Image > Add or Upload File , select fade from the > Effect options in right sidebar > Select other options to suit > Then Publish
Go to Widgets > remove any text widgets present in front-page-1 and drag the slider widget into the widget area , select your slider from the list > Save
View front end - This will show on homepage only
You can add content to each slide if you wish using the content area for each slide
andytcParticipantLooks like you've fixed it
andytcParticipantOk , digging a bit deeper , it seems the line below that sets the page to be 100% width is the issue , it makes the images super large and the magnify does not work.
Line 7 - monochrome-woocommerce.css - Comment out this line and check the results
.woocommerce.full-width-content .content, .woocommerce-page.full-width-content .content { width: 100%; }
I've tested this , and also tried with a sidebar for the shop archive page , it was all good , single product pages are centred and have monochrome styling.
andytcParticipantI've messed around with this for a while this morning , Monochrome with Woo , yeah , the product images are a mess , nothing really works with the image sizes. What did seem to help a great deal in the end was going into childtheme functions and commenting out the line at 43 -
// Includes the Customizer CSS for the WooCommerce plugin. //require_once get_stylesheet_directory() . '/lib/woocommerce/woocommerce-output.php';
In fact , you can comment out the ALL the requires for woo.
Once i did this , the images behaved as expected and the shop pages reverted to woo style , which is ok , it's easy to style. The magnifier also worked , when before , it didn't.
Anyways , give it a go and check the results , see if it get's it sorted. Genesis connect for woo is installed and activated BTW
All in all a real PITA !
andytcParticipantYou can add these styles to custom CSS in the customiser , then check site-wide to see if it's all as expected.
.footer-widgets .wrap { padding-top: 0; } .entry-footer::before { margin: 0 auto 0; padding-top: 0; } .entry { margin-bottom: 0; }
andytcParticipantHave you tried this setting in the customiser > WooCommerce Product Images
Thumbnail width > Image size used for products in the catalogue. > try 360 ?
Custom > Images will be cropped to a custom aspect ratio > 3 : 5 ?
andytcParticipantTake a look at this one , has some nice features , different layouts to choose from , you can adjust the speed , star ratings etc. Good documentation and also video Tut's available ... Free
andytcParticipantWhat method are you using to create the new image size ?
Some info’s here if you haven’t already seen it , might be useful
https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/image-sizes-theme-developers/#
andytcParticipantYou can add this to the custom CSS section in the customiser -
.full-width-content.featured-image .site-inner { margin-top:100px; } .entry-background { display: none; } .entry-avatar .avatar { display: none; }
andytcParticipantExcellent! , the ! Means ‘is not‘ I included that as it was in your original code , glad you figured it out.
andytcParticipantYou can try this code - modified from the original post here -
https://sridharkatakam.com/remove-post-info-specific-post-genesis/
add_action( 'genesis_before_entry', function () { if( is_single() && ! in_category( 'blog' ) ) { return; } remove_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_post_info', 12 ); } );
andytcParticipantandytcParticipantEdit the page , select the button block , at the top of screen select the alignment , choose centre - publish
andytcParticipantMissed this bit - "... I am trying to move the text widget box to the right"
Ok , so add this for just front page 1
.front-page-1 .flexible-widgets.widget-full .widget_text { float: right; }
If you want that to apply to both images , not just front-page-1 , then delete the first class as below -
.flexible-widgets.widget-full .widget_text { float: right; }
Try that and see how it goes , check responsive
