    Hello.

    I've added the featured posts widget to the main sidebar with only the featured image and title displaying. I've chosen to display 6 posts.

    However, it displays in a single column. I want to display the featured posts in the sidebar in two columns (thumbnails side by side and title below each image side by side).

    The featured post widget doesn't have any option to display in 1,2 or 3 columns.

    Can I achieve this only by using CSS? If, yes could you tell me how, please?

    I'm using the Magazine Pro theme.

    Thank you very much for any help.

    Try adding this in the Customiser > Additional CSS section

    .sidebar-primary .featuredpost article {
        width: 48%;
        float: left;
    }

    Thanks andytc! That works, except on mobile devices, where the items do not align properly.

    Not yet. Only local dev at the moment. But I've decided to display in a single column on mobile with this:

    @media
    only screen and ( max-width: 700px ) and ( min-width: 320px ) {
    .sidebar-primary .featuredpost article {
    width: 100%;
    }
    }

    It seems to be working OK.
