That was it! (that's a little embarrassing)
Many thanks Brad!
I'm building the site locally on serverpress.
Happy to rebuild the header using 3 widget areas, sounds perfect, how would I go about doing that?
I'm using the Parallax pro childJune 15, 2016 at 3:20 am in reply to: Disaply genesis featured page widget inline & in rows – Paralax pro #187576
I knew it had been done before, thanks will do.
Here you go:
Thanks for taking a look.
Does any one have any ideas on how to do this?
Any help much appreciated
No I wasn't using a static page, but that did give me an idea.
I create a page bank page called "Full" made the layout "Full-width" and then made that the homepage in "Reading"
Bit of a work around, but I can't see anything in the front-page.php that would be effecting this.
Thanks for the replies!
Sorry, I had the genesis setting to full width.
I've now changed it to sidebar right, the sidebar is showing again on the homepage.
Any ideas would be greatly apprecriated.June 23, 2015 at 10:40 am in reply to: How to make site title appear only after scroll starts #157302

What a stupid cow!! That is an example of what happens when I start doing things before I've had enough coffee in a morning.
Thank you so much for your help and "proofreading". I may have to delete the links in the above posts and dissociate myself from such a stupid rookie mistake!June 23, 2015 at 7:11 am in reply to: How to make site title appear only after scroll starts #157278
Mmm, I have (although I admit, after you mentioned it I did doubt myself!) - I've located it here: http://wearethefue.com/wp-content/themes/parallax-pro/js/hide-side-title.js - perhaps that's not the right place?June 23, 2015 at 6:38 am in reply to: How to make site title appear only after scroll starts #157276June 23, 2015 at 2:51 am in reply to: How to make site title appear only after scroll starts #157266
Argh! I don't know if I've missed something obvious, but I've tried it a few times now and can't get it to work. Is there any common trap I might have stumbled on?
I've gone through the steps (which are really clear and easy to follow - thank you) on a clean version of Parallax Pro (i.e. not hacked around by me!) and still nothing. Only plugins I've added are Contact Form 7 and Really Simple Captcha, both of which I've deactivated. Any ideas??
Thanks!June 23, 2015 at 12:27 am in reply to: How to make site title appear only after scroll starts #157262
"jQuery For Dummies" (like me)! Christoph, thank you so much for writing up the article - I love you right now!!June 22, 2015 at 3:00 am in reply to: How to make site title appear only after scroll starts #157121
Thanks for your reply Christoph,
Do you know what I have to do with jQuery? I've only been able to find how-to's on creating the header for scroll sites, but nothing on dealing with just the site title. I'm a total jQuery novice!!
Great site, looks very nice
Loving the "We are soul ...." text, how did you do that?
Anybody got any ideas about what's causing the problem and how I can fix this??
Getting no response from Woo and am getting rather desperate...
This is a screenshot of the problem in Genesis:
and here it is problem free in Twenty Twelve:
Here is the product page I used for the above screenshots, though it's happening on all - the display of the thumbs when you hover over the lightbox:
