I'm working with Outreach Pro at the moment and I'm finding all the child menu items for a menu are showing, not just the active.

Any idea how to change this so only the active page's child items are showing?

I know there are plugins out there for this sort of thing, I would really rather a code solution rather than using a plugin.

The WordPress supplied custom menu widget won't do what you want. You need a plugin to help. Try this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-menu-wizard/
