    I'm looking to modify the header into three sections. Menu (left) - Logo (centre) - Phone No (right)

    At first I thought I would simply create 3 widgets in the header and insert the necessary widgets, would this be best practice?

    If so, how would this be done or are there any tutorials out there that would explain how to do this?

    Link to your site please.

    I would rebuild the header and use 3 widgets areas because you need to add the menu to the left of the logo otherwise you could use CSS.

    I'm building the site locally on serverpress.

    Happy to rebuild the header using 3 widget areas, sounds perfect, how would I go about doing that?

    1. You can search for a free tutorial which includes the code.

    2. You can dig into the header.php in genesis and use that as a guide as well.

    Basically, you'd start the code off by removing the header and add it back in a custom function like:

    remove_action( 'genesis_header','genesis_do_header' );
    add_action( 'genesis_header','genesis_custom_header' );
    function genesis_custom_header() {

    Code to call your 3 widgets here

    }
