MemberAccording to the StudioPress website (accessed 11/28/17), on the My Themes page, the Agency Pro child theme has a "Version: 3.1.5 Updated: 10/27/17" at the present time.
I use the Agency Pro theme on three different websites and on the WordPress dashboard Appearances - Themes page for each site it shows that I have Agency Pro Version 3.1.4. Further, there is NO indication showing anywhere on the WP dashboard about any theme updates being available. On the WP dashboard Updates page, for example, under the Themes section, it states "Your themes are all up to date."
On the WP dashboard Appearances - Themes page, it show that I have Genesis Version: 2.5.3 under the Agency Pro theme for each of my four different sites.
Going back to the StudioPress website, I am able to download the Version 3.1.5.
If I do this and then install this new Agency Pro theme version on my three sites, will my content remain "as is", at least for the most part. Or will "updating" to the new by installing it wreak havoc on my content and design which were implemented when using the older version (3.1.4).
May be a dumb question, but I would like to know the answer before diving in....
Thanks, and have a good day.

ModeratorUpdating a child theme does not change content. WordPress content is stored in the database. There's generally reason to ever update a child theme. The Agency Pro readme file says the following about 3.1.5:
= 3.1.5 =
* Update eNews Widget styling
* Remove deprecated theme tags
* Update documentation
* Update jquery.scrollTo.min.js and jquery.localScroll.min.js to latest versions
* Update text domain to standards
* Optimize front page imageIf you feel these changes are compelling enough to warrant an update, then go ahead. The caveat here is that if you overwrite your functions.php and style.css with the new version, you will lose any customizations you have. You have to compare both versions of the files and merge any changes into one or the other then keep the merged files. I personally wouldn't bother.

MemberThank you for your response.
Do you (or anyone who has the Version 3.1.5 installed) know if the following aspect of new version fixes the problem which started in September 2017 with Chrome, only, where the "button" which is supposed to take you from the Home-Top widget to the Home-Middle widget stopped working?
* Update jquery.scrollTo.min.js and jquery.localScroll.min.js to latest versions
That may be the only reason (based on the list of changes) I would want to do the update.
Have a good day.

MemberI appreciate your response.
I recall being told about this fix on the Genesis WordPress Facebook group page back in September when I posted there about my problem. But I was -- and still am -- tentative about getting under-the-hood of my site / theme, so to speak.
Would installing the new version be an alternative way to fix the problem?
The only "customization" of Agency Pro code I did manually was changing the font style -- and doing this made me anxious. As such, if installing Version 3.1.5 would fix the problem, that may be the for me to go (as coding matters make me anxious).
Thanks, again.

ModeratorAll you have to do is copy the jQuery files from the new theme and overwrite the ones that are already there.
