Howdy. I was wondering if there is a way to add actual post excerpts to the Lifestyle Pro widgetized homepage. Right now I have it set up using Genesis Featured Posts to show latest post excerpts, but if I wanted to add social media sharing buttons and/or a signature, etc. to the excerpts, I can't do that with Featured Posts.

So my question, can I add in an actual posts feed (loop, I guess) to the homepage, is that possible? I want to keep the widgetized layout of course.

The easiest way is to comment out the line in front-page.php that removes the Genesis loop. Look for the following line and comment it out:

remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop' );
