Hi, I want to use the right hand header widget for the 4 social buttons currently at the top of the primary sidebar. Because the widget box is so wide it pushes my title (Scotland Uncovered) vertically, so I have to reduce the width of the header widget box so that the title remains in a horizontal line. I also want to position the buttons in the centre.
Could somebody help?
Hi all
First of all, I'd like to say that I'm impressed with the quality and design of the StudioPress/Genesis themes. Definitely worth the investment! 🙂
I have some questions about the design of my Metro Pro theme though:
1) I was browsing on the Smart Passive Income blog which also uses the Genesis framework. I noticed that they use some kind of sticky sidebar ("more on SPI"). Is this a widget that comes with the theme or is this tailor-made?
2) I want the featured image to show up on post pages right beneath the title, just like the Metro Pro demo. How can I do this without coding?
3) I've added widgets to my footer but still my footer doesn't show up. Why?
The site is still in staging area and can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/oyt8kdl

[Resolved]Topic: Add Header Image to Landing Page
Hello! I am trying to create a custom landing page for my site. I am using the standard landing page format for Metro Pro, but I want to add an image (my header banner) before the Page Title. However, I do NOT want the .site-header .widget-area to show up. I only want the banner.
Is there any easy way to do this?
Here is my template I am using:
<?php
/**
* This file adds the Landing template to the Metro Pro Theme.
*
* @author StudioPress
* @package Generate
* @subpackage Customizations
*//*
Template Name: Landing
*/// Add custom body class to the head
add_filter( 'body_class', 'metro_add_body_class' );
function metro_add_body_class( $classes ) {
$classes[] = 'metro-pro-landing';
return $classes;
}// Remove header, navigation, breadcrumbs, footer widgets, footer
add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_full_width_content' );
remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_open', 5 );
remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_header' );
remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_close', 15 );
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
remove_action( 'genesis_before', 'genesis_do_subnav' );
remove_action( 'genesis_before_loop', 'genesis_do_breadcrumbs' );
remove_action( 'genesis_after', 'genesis_footer_widget_areas' );
remove_action( 'genesis_after', 'genesis_footer_markup_open', 11 );
remove_action( 'genesis_after', 'genesis_do_footer', 12 );
remove_action( 'genesis_after', 'genesis_footer_markup_close', 13 );genesis();
For some reason I'm having a super hard time finding where to change the settings for this.
In my blog posts when someone goes to add a comment, as soon as they enter it and mouseover the "post comment" button it goes transparent.
I have tried to change the color (to #aec24a) in numerous places but nothing seems to help.
It seems like it should be this block but whatever I'm trying isn't doing it.
.metro-blue a.social-buttons:hover,
.metro-blue button:hover,
.metro-blue input:hover[type="button"],
.metro-blue input:hover[type="submit"],
.metro-blue .btn:hover,
.metro-blue .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item a,
.metro-blue .genesis-nav-menu li a:hover,
.metro-blue .genesis-nav-menu li:hover a,
.metro-blue .post-comments a,
.metro-blue .navigation li a:hover,
.metro-blue .navigation li.active a,
.metro-blue .sidebar .enews-widget input[type="submit"],
.metro-blue #title a {

Using metro Pro here:
1. Inside Home - Middle Left and Home - Middle Right, is there a way to display the title of the posts above the featured image in this widget?
2. Come to think of it, I want the home page to have 2 columns of Featured Images. At the moment, Home - Middle Left loads 4 posts (1,2,3,4 vertically) then Home - Middle Right loads the next 4 (5,6,7,8 also vertically). Is there a way to load 8 posts (for example) and have them ordered 1,2, next row, 3,4, and so on?
Welcome!
