Hi there,
I'm not sure if this is too specific of a request however I thought I'd give it a go because I am really stuck. I'm building a website and need to integrate this booking software from this company The Little Box Office. They have given me a number of javascript files, a folder containing two php files that sit in the root folder, and codes to insert into the pages, however the theme is not reading the information from the box office account.
On any other theme the code would go directly into the sidebar.php file for example, however with Metro Pro I am inserting this code into the sidebar through the widgets.
<div class="CalendarPopup" id="CalendarPopup" style="display:none;"> <div class="CalendarPopupCloseBTN"><img src="wp-content/themes/wish4ticket/images/popup-close-btn.png" border="0" align="Close" title="Close" style="cursor:pointer;" onclick="closediv();"/></div> <div class="Performances"> </div> </div>
Here is an example of a site where the software is functioning correctly:
And here is my demo site where it is not:
If anyone has any ideas why it might not be working correctly I would be so grateful!
Thanks

Topic: New Look for Slice of SciFi
Slice of SciFi needed an update. It had been running the xhtml version of Metro since a week or two after that theme had been released, and a need to go html5 and mobile responsive was long overdue.
So with a little inspiration from several magazine themes on Theme Forest, I took Epik and did a "6 Million Dollar Man" reconstruction on it to get all of the layout features I wanted:
* full width home page
* horizontal layout featured posts
* using tiles instead of a sliderProblems delayed the relaunch, mostly hosting related (still have those, but I decided not to put off the update any longer), but just this week I made the switch, along with the relaunch of the show with me back as host again (and including new theme music from an awesome geek rock band I know), and so far, the new site has been running rather smoothly.
There are a few quirks that I'm still working on fixing -- the titles on the tiles vanish when certain responsive breakpoints are hit, and since I chose to go with a full width header image on the front page, but a regular width one on the interior pages, the site-url linking to the home url doesn't work anymore... in fact, neither banner image acts as a link anymore, and I haven't gone looking for what I broke yet 🙂
I suspect it may be because I didn't use the Customizer to add the header image, but since I needed two different ones, Customizer would be of no help/use.
The other thing I'm looking into is whether Sandbox Featured Content Widget can be modified to support post subtitles... GFWA does weird things with subtitles, so it's forced me to finally make a featured content widget change after all this time.
So, check out the site, let me know if anything obvious jumps out at you, and please don't mind the site slowness if you get it during a bad moment... Siteground is not the hosting company so many others have praised it to the skies to be (their own site is down/goen right now), and I'm working on moving yet again... maybe the 5th time will be the charm? LOL

Slice of SciFi | Writers, After Dark[Resolved]Topic: Metro Pro home bottom widget is not responsive
[Resolved]Topic: Styling fonts, and background colors of footer-widget area.
Hello
I have been searching this forum and most of the internet. But can't find the answer to my question.
On http://gearcatalyst.com in Metro Pro theme I would like the post title to show before the post picture on the "home-top" widget, the one with the Lastes news headline.
Is that possible?
Thanks in advance
\Bjarke[Resolved]Topic: Metro Pro Custom Category Page (Like Homepage)
Hi all,
I've searched these forums so apologies if it's already been touched on.
I'm looking to change my category pages so the post excerpts and featured image looks exactly like the featured story section at the bottom of the Metro Pro demo site - http://demo.studiopress.com/metro/ - i.e. 150x150 image floated right, small title link and 50 word limit.
I know that is a widget area, and I know the widget is home-bottom, but I can't find the code that makes the post excerpts look like that.
Is there a way I can change the excerpts to look just like that on my category pages?
Thanks in advance.
Using the Subtitles plugin which adds subtitles below post titles using a span class like this:
<span class="entry-subtitle"> some subtitle text</span>
After the Genesis 2.1.0 upgrade, any title displayed by the featured post widgets on the homepage, displays everything as part of the title itself, span tags and all. Only widget titles are affected, subtitles are fine on the post itself.
Genesis stripped the symbols from the span tags and sends the code for the symbols to the browser instead, which then displays them instead of operating on them:
<span class="entry-subtitle">some subtitle text</span>
"This isn't showing the code correctly here, it wants to display it, too, just as the browser would, but the symbols around the span are sent to the browser as code."The 2.1.0 changelog mentions changes to titles in several places, including one dealing with widgets, but I can't seem to figure out which bit of code is doing this. I've been digging through a local install, but having difficulty nailing it down.
A test site is here, using the Metro theme which shows the problem. If you click through to the post you'll see the subtitle displays properly.
Hi,
I am customizing my theme and want to change the font color of the widget area title to white. I have tried several CSS codes with no success. Please I need some help here.Hi again -
So I'm trying to display the footer widgets on the home page only.I've tried adding to the bottom of functions:
add_action( 'genesis_before', 'metro_display_footer_front_page' ); function metro_display_footer_front_page() { if( !is_front_page() ) { remove_action( 'genesis_before_footer', 'genesis_footer_widget_areas' ); }}
to no avail, and also tried:
add_action( 'genesis_before', 'metro_display_footer_home' ); /*** * @author Brad Dalton - WP Sites * @learn more http://wpsites.net/web-design/remove-footer-specific-pages/ ***/ function wpsites_display_footer_home() { if( !is_home() ) { remove_action( 'genesis_before_footer', 'genesis_footer_widget_areas' ); } }
also to no avail. I also tried the second code replacing !is_home with !is_front_page...
and nothing.Could someone PLEASE assist?

Thank you in advance!
I used Metro Pro as the magazine style was perfect for what we do. I now understand what all the rave is about using Genesis! So easy and fast to work with. I haven't changed much of the theme: added logo image, aligned widget titles to left and reduced title sizes. that's was about it. It looked great as is.
Any feedback appreciated
[Resolved]Topic: Broken my functions .php
I am very much a php novice and would be most grateful if someone could check my functions.php file (metro).
Whilst trying to style the date via the tutorial section I seem to have broken it. Rather stupidly I never made a copy before I started.
I tried to take out what I put in but it didn't work. From what I can establish there is something like a curly brace missing.Error is Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /homepages/link_pathwp-content/themes/metro/functions.php on line 181.
Strangely enough on loading the file into notepadd++ it only goes to 160 lines.
Anyway many thanks if someone could have a look at it.
