Hope someone can help. My logo at the default size (320 x 120) in Monochrome Pro looks awful and I am trying to make it bigger (400 x 163). The menu runs underneath it and it all just looks wrong.
All I can think of (other than removing the logo and displaying at the top of every page) is to make it bigger, but i’m struggling to do this.
This is what I’ve changed . . .
CSS
.header-image .title-area {
height: 163px;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
margin-top: 5px;
padding: 0;
width: 400px;
}.header-image .site-title > a {
background-size: contain !important;
background-position: left center !important;
float: left;
min-height: 163px;
width: 100%;
}PHP
// Add support for custom header.
add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
'width' => 400,
'height' => 163,
'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
'header-text' => false,
'flex-height' => true,
'flex-width' => true,
) );Also, is there any way of stopping the menu running under the logo?
Thanks in advance for any help/tips!
Topic: Genesis Sample (Develop)
So, I am investigating the Genesis Sample Develop child theme and have a couple of questions.
(1) How can I remove the Google AdSense feature?
(2) I usually change the logo for an image. To do this I would comment out the "Add support for custom header" in functions.php and this in turn would show in Theme Settings the choice for image logo or text. This is no longer in functions.php so how do I do it?
Sorry, no url as I am developing on local.
Cheers
JillI'm afraid all of my tinkering and attempts at Googling this have caused confusion beyond my skillset. I've adjusted my header logo size to 900x280px. I would like to shrink the solid background around it first. Then, I'd like the widget text on the right to line up or be centered opposite the logo. Could anyone break it down for me? Thank you......
Business pro uses:
.custom-logo {
height: 50px;
height: 5rem;
}in .css and,
add_theme_support( 'custom-logo', array(
'height' => 100,
'width' => 300,
'flex-height' => true,
'flex-width' => true,
'header-text' => array( '.site-title', '.site-description' ),
) );in function.php
I want to increase the size of my logo but changing any of these only seems to stretch image height - and so make it distorted.
How can I increase the image height and width?

David TrounceTopic: Infinity Pro Mobile Menu
Hi! I added a video background on the home page and now I'm having some minor issues with the mobile menu.
When the page first load, the menu shows correctly. If you tap on the "menu" link the menu drops down with a white background.
However, if you scroll to the bottom of the page and then scroll back up, tap on the menu link, the menu drop down but it has a transparent background.
Everything I've tried to do to this menu affects the primary menu. I would like the header to have a white background again so that the logo text is visible and also, correct the issue with the menu background after scrolling on the home page.
If anyone can provide some guidance, it will be greatly appreciated.
Hi folks,
I am trying to remove the link from my header logo.I have used the code from here https://my.studiopress.com/documentation/snippets/header/modify-the-header-url/ to add to my functions.php page, but it just removes my logo and replaces it with a text version (with a hyperlink).
I started by editing my style.css file, below:
.header-image .site-title > a { background: url('http://www.domain.com/image-files/logo.png') no-repeat; background-position: left 0px; background-size: 330px 58px; float: left; height: 63px; width: 360px; pointer-events: none !important; /* I have added this, but it doesn't work */ } .logo a { pointer-events: none !important; } /* I have added this, but it doesn't work */
... but this seems to have no effect.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
ThanksHi there,
I am using a sixteen nine pro theme for my blog and am trying to increase the circle diameter located in the header section, in which currently my face is displayed. I included my site in the URL section.
I tried the following advice from the support team (It is a bit long so please bear with me):
"1. Edit the width and height values here in functions.php (no 'px' unit is required here):
//* Add support for custom header
add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
'admin-preview-callback' => 'sixteen_nine_admin_header_callback',
'default-text-color' => 'ffffff',
'header-selector' => '.site-header .site-avatar img',
'height' => 224,
'width' => 224,
'wp-head-callback' => 'sixteen_nine_header_callback',
'header-text' => true,
) );2. Alter the style.css file width and height values here (the 'px' unit is required for CSS):
.site-header .avatar,
.site-header .site-avatar img {
border-radius: 50%;
display: block;
float: none;
height: 112px;
margin: 0 auto 24px;
width: 112px;
}3. Re-upload your logo at the same size as the new values you have set.
If your new logo is wider than 240px, you will also need to increase the width of the left column so the logo appears correctly at large screen widths, and adjust the other columns to fit. (The 'site-header' appears on the left at larger screen widths, and has a fixed width of 240px set in the CSS. You could keep your new logo size below 240px to avoid having to make bigger CSS changes to the column widths.)"
-------------------------------------------------------I have tried exactly that, but for whatever reason the circle is not increasing in size. I've tried changing height and width up to 230px - but it stays exactly how it is now. The reason why I want to change it, is because I want to replace the picture (currently of my face), with my new logo, which I'd like to be displayed in a much bigger size.
Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?
Thank you and best regards,
FelixHi,
I am designing a new client site and would like to incorporate a STICKY HEADER / NAV BAR at the top of the page but one that adjusts the logo and adds a little text bar below when you scroll vertically
the same as is used on this site actually - https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
any idea how I can achieve this within GENESIS?
I will be basing my theme on the GENESIS SAMPLE CHLD THEME
thanks
Philip
Hello,
I have added a custom logo to my header and whenever I do the text "Genesis Framework" with a subtitle of "Supports HTML5 and Mobile Responsive Design". The custom logo is laid right on top of it. I've removed all text from WP-ADMIN > SETTINGS > GENERAL > SITE TITLE and it still shows up.
Please see screenshot below for a better idea of what's happening:
