Hi Joseph
I wanted the information for a blog post I was putting together on the AgentPress theme.
Eventually I installed it on a local install and played around with it to get my answers.
http://genesisthemes.co.uk/agentpress-pro-genesis-child-theme/Hi Tracy
"I’m curious about the IDX integration, too."I couldn't work out if AgentPress Pro was configured to work with any IDX plugins so I never mentioned it in my article.
If anyone could answer the "IDX integration question" I'll add it to the post.
wmwebdesMemberThanks Brad
I was thinking that the AgentPress listings plugin could be used for sites other than real estate sites.Let me have a link to the wine site and I'll give it a mention.
wmwebdesMemberThanks Brad
I've just set up a local site and worked it out.
As you say the AgentPress listings plugin does all the hard work.The features mention a " Properties listings template" but I don't see one in my dashboard.
Also no mention in the setup info of IDX integration.
Carrie Dills "Winning Agent Pro" theme was much better documented than AgentPress Pro.wmwebdesMemberThanks @Smarty #222222 is perfect.
The default font is too light and too small - noticed that on a few of the modern themes.
wmwebdesMemberIn the download area I noticed this note...
"Note: You may wish to Install and Run the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin in order for the featured images to be available in the appropriate size for the slider and other sections of the home page."
So I'm guessing that the slider displays the featured images, but you say not.
Can only suggest that you make sure you have saved the new featured image and clear your cache.

Your background image is 2000 x 1246
It looks pretty sharp to me but why not cut it down to the 1600 x 1050 used in the demo?Cut it to the required dimensions and optimise it using your image editing software.
wmwebdesMemberHi
I've just taken a look at the background image on the demo site using Developer tools and the image used is 1600 x 1050Hope that helps.
wmwebdesMemberGreat stuff - looks good.
wmwebdesMemberThe text "Enter photo number here" is black so you can't actually see it when you look at the site.
Take off the title and change the text in the search box.
This post shows you how to customise the search box...
wmwebdesMemberHi Kath
I've not got anything live (sites are on local installs) but here are a couple of screenshots of Pretty Pictures and Stretch.https://twitter.com/wmwebdes/status/275279521182265344/photo/1
I've also done reviews of both themes on my site.

Hope that helps.
wmwebdesMemberCan we have a link to the actual site please.
That way we can take a look at the CSS and adjust it on the fly.wmwebdesMemberAgree with Colson
The border is generated by this CSSiframe, .entry-content img {
background-color: #fff;
border: 4px solid #ddd !important;
box-sizing: border-box;
padding: 1px;
}Remove the border and it looks fine.
wmwebdesMemberHi
Have you taken a look at this post by Brian Gardner?wmwebdesMemberGood man - looks good to me.
The CSS is reflecting the image behind the h4 tag
bottom-1 h4 {
color: #222222;
font-size: 14px;
font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Verdana;
font-weight: bold;
margin: 0 0 0 0 !important;
padding: 5px 10px !important;
border-bottom: 1px solid #d9d9d9;
background: url(images/nav.png);
border-top-right-radius: 8px;
-moz-border-top-right-radius: 8px;
-webkit-border-top-right-radius: 8px;
border-top-left-radius: 8px;
-moz-border-top-left-radius: 8px;
-webkit-border-top-left-radius: 8px;
}Shall we say that this one is resolved?
wmwebdesMemberLet me know how it goes Martin.
wmwebdesMemberHi Martin
Do you have a copy of your original stylesheet?Styling for widget areas on home page is currently...
#home .widget {
margin: 0 0 10px 0;
padding: 10px !important;
}Look on the original stylesheet and see what the styling for #home .widget was.
If you don't have a copy of the original stylesheet download the theme to your desktop and take a look at the stylesheet.
wmwebdesMemberHi
Colour of your h2 is defined by...element.style {
color: #00679e;
}When you say "page title" do you mean "What is In-Home Care?" because that is an h1 tag.
The h1 tag (and the other tags shown below) is styled with this CSS...
#content h1, #content h2, #content h3, #content h4, #content h5, #content h6 {
color: #444444;
font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Verdana;
font-weight: normal;
text-decoration: none;
margin: 0 0 5px 0;
padding: 0;
}Change the colour to what you want and create a selector for the h1 tag (include any other tags you want to use that colour.
wmwebdesMemberHi Sanjeev
Great job you've done on your site - many congratulations.My comments:
1 - I'm not a lover of rotating adds, but that's just me.
2 - For a technology site like this a premium image would really lift the site, again that's just my opinion.
It would have to be the right image, but it would turn a good looking site into a great looking site.3 - And as Carrie said... welcome to Genesis.
wmwebdesMemberMy pleasure Jimmy
Looks good now.
Shall we say this one resolved then?
Keith
wmwebdesMemberHi
Have you checked the CSS with firebug or Chrome dev tools?I've taken a quick look and found this CSS
input, select, textarea {
background-color: #fff;
border: 1px solid #ddd;
border-radius: 3px;
box-shadow: 0 0 5px #ddd inset;
padding: 16px;
padding: 1rem;
width: 100%;
}Remove width: 100%; and the submit button becomes smaller.
