    Thanks for your help. I believe the problem was theme jumping. The install started out with just News and then ExecPro and finally NewsPro. There was no problem until I shut down the computer and then entered the program the next day. Very peculiar. The only solution was to install a new WP, Genesis, and NewsPro in a different directory and then import.

    The full URL showed the file (wp-edit) but there was no code entry in the file for the background. In fact, the color (#1e73be) was nowhere to be found.

    I was able to change the custom header specs in the functions.php but could not find the CSS changes for min-height and log in the style.css file. The header is still cropping. (www.danfelixcft.com). How do I get the image (110 x 960) to fully occupy the header space?
