    I am using the NewsPro theme on a previous News Theme. The published pages are fine, but the background of the edit screens for the Pages and Posts listings are now blue. I found the offending code but I do not know which file has this code. I have a small screen shot of the code. It reads:

    .status-publish {
    background-color: #1e73be !important;
    }

    The blue listed is definitely the blue and when I change it using the Chrome Inspect feature, the problem is solved. I just don't know where the file is so I can permanently change it. Any help would be appreciated. Dan

    Have you tried deactivating plugins to see if that resolves the issue? Sounds like a potential plugin conflict.

    Alternately, when you view that particular CSS in Inspector, you'll get the name of the file in black on the right just above it. Hovering over that filename will show you the full URL to the stylesheet where the offending code is coming from, which will tell you whether it's a plugin problem, something in WordPress itself, etc. Hopefully that makes sense.

    Thanks for your help. I believe the problem was theme jumping. The install started out with just News and then ExecPro and finally NewsPro. There was no problem until I shut down the computer and then entered the program the next day. Very peculiar. The only solution was to install a new WP, Genesis, and NewsPro in a different directory and then import.

    The full URL showed the file (wp-edit) but there was no code entry in the file for the background. In fact, the color (#1e73be) was nowhere to be found.
